These are very easy to use. You screw in a plastic mount into the wall, and another into the furniture. You then connect the 2 with a heavy duty ziptie.

I have baby gates and lost the mounting kits, i never needed to use them until now. And I got this kit, they work perfectly. They are indeed adjustable, so I can take the gate down when needed. So problem solved. Each mounting comes with 1 strap, this pack have 12, I don't need that many now, but I do hope there are more straps ( I think you can put 2 straps in 1 mounting) for heavier objects or the straps got broken.

I liked the idea of this product as opposed to the mounting brackets that come with Ikea furniture. I was mounting a bookshelf that is pretty tall and thought it was important to bracket it. To get it flush and mount to a stud the vinyl zip tie was pulling on the bracket but I was still very surprised to see that that pressure broke the bracket. I since replaced the bracket and adjusted it, but I am still a little anxious that it would hold if someone pulled on the bookshelf.

My wife has been asking me to add this to our furniture ever since the recent earthquake scares. I picked this style as it seems versatile and works for what I need to stabilize (bed frame, dressers). Installation is straight forward, as long as you have studs in the wall that works for the furniture. I guess you can install it on the dry wall but don’t think it would be very sturdy for earthquakes, but might help with general tipping dur to leaning/weight.

This is a very smart creation. I’m not only using the straps to keep the dresser in one place. I also used it to hold my mirror on the wall. It’s surprisedly very strong and sturdy to hold the heavy wooden mirror. Great item for the family who has young child in the household.
