The item arrived promptly.

It was packed in what I’d describe an adequate manner. It wasn’t what I expected though, just plastic film. No styrofoam.

I was very concerned about the design, once I unwrapped the pieces. The way it is deigned involves a lot of assembly, unlike the Zinus brand. I own one two of those and they are great.

This one puts the center, flimsy legs straddling each side. This was what I was concerned about. The wire mesh is very thin, like a wire cost hanger. Concern two

First use: this was for my son. The first night he used it it broke. It collapsed in the center, practically dumping him to the floor. (He just slept in it, didn’t jump on it.) He’s an average size teen.

He was so embarrassed that he broke the brand new bed, that he didn’t say anything. He slept in it again, didn’t say anything because he was embarrassed. I happened to notice it looked off. He said, dad It broke. I was shocked when I moved the mattress, revealing the Damage!

He could have easily been impaled by the broken metal, or fallen to the floor.

This is is down right dangerous! And should not be sold!!!

Please note that I took photos after I started taking it apart for the return. The screws/bolts were all secure and tight. I realized it needed to be photographed.

I couldn’t be more happier to finally have my bed frame. Once we opened the package and started putting it together I noticed some dents and dings in the platform. It was the piece that connect the legs to the bed frame, it was dented which meant we weren’t able to slide the legs in place without using pliers to reform its shape. It would be nice if the seller examined the pieces before packing them. I would have been upset if I wasn’t able to bend it back in place. Other than that my bed is super soft and it sits up at a nice height.

Update 4 months later:
The bed squeaks and it’s quite annoying. It’s still holding up but every move made on the bed leads to the bed squeaking which is annoying at night when I get up.

I would normally prefer a regular mattress foundation as it's easier to make the bed, but for a guest room this is fine. I put an anti-skid rug rubberized pad between mattress and this frame. It's not so much that the mattress slides it's that it's a bit more challenging to make the bed with the wires. That could be solved with some kind of a piece of ply or something else or simply the under pad for a rug. I do like the height as it allows for plenty storage under the bed.

I bought this frame for my 6'5" 260 lbs. son and am happy to report that it appears to support him very well. When shopping, I was looking for a frame with a superior supporting system as the "typical" frame was inadequate. He is a teenager and does not treat much of my furniture gently! I would definitely recommend this product for any individual requiring a frame under similar circumstances. Set up was easy with pictures to assist and I actually did it myself, which is not the way it normally happens as my husband usually does this kind of thing. It's only been a few weeks since set up but nothing appears to have "loosened".

This is the 3rd different style of bed frame I have ordered and assembled. This one is pretty sturdy and has a lot of support, but way harder to put together then the other two. But it does appear to have a lot more support. Would recommend, takes about 10 minutes or less to assemble.

This thing is ok I guess I read reviews thinking it was going to be a steal but pulled it out of the box and 2 wires on top were broken one of the rubber feet was tore up like a dog got ahold of it and one of the leg sections was missing the silver piece that held it in place to the frame but honestly because I hate dealing with amazon customer service I’m just going to take this a loss and eventually just buy a frame from ikea

Update: April 2018 this frame is a complete piece of junk I woke up last night and it was broken right in the middle my mattress was trying to fold me in half the screws that hold the middle section together completely tore out of the frame I weigh 240lbs there’s no reason this should happen don’t buy this frame it’s junk

Very great product and easy to assemble. Seems quite hefty and durable. Not flimsy at all. It remains quiet when getting on the bed too. If you need a cheap alternative to a box spring, look no futher.

Really sturdy although not that easy to put up but it's worth every penny i paid for..i love it. It needs a little common sense so you won't damage your floor.I have my BF cut pieces of wood blocks for the legs..Not squeaky ,no missing pieces ,no bend corners upon delivery..I love it.now i can put alot of stuff at the bottom..i really need that EXTRA EXTRA room since my apt.is small.I recommend this bed 5 star
