Anti-skid says it all.
We just moved into a new home that has vinyl & ceramic tile throughout. Although the vinyl is tough & doesn't scratch, we grew tired of our recliners sliding backwards every time we sat in them. So, we attached the self stick anti-skid pads on each corner of the recliners. It was an easy fix. The recliners haven't moved since! The rubber bottoms of each pad keeps our recliners in place. This product works!

I purchased these for two reasons: 1) they have a rubber layer instead of the eva-foam found on other grip pads, and 2) these were less expensive than similar rubber pads.

They have not disappointed. The felt layer is thick and feels durable, and the rubber layer, though thin, provides plenty of grip for the pieces of furniture that I did not want sliding around. I have these on my large work desk, and pushing the desk from the top will tip it before it slides.

I also purchased eva-foam pads for other pieces of furniture that I do like to push around, like a coffee table.

My only complaint with these is that the felt layer is a little too thick for what I need--it does provide extra protection, but more than I need, and it makes the pads hard to cut to smaller pieces. But this is a minor annoyance.

I put these on my classroom desks because my students always ended up shifting their desks by the end of the day. For the most part, they do keep the desks from shifting. However, the adhesion on a few of them come off and the pads ended up slipping off.

Bought these because my couch is half on a rug and half on the hardwoods. Whenever my friend brings her dog to play with mine, they move the couch a lot. It also moves easily if people sit down with just enough momentum. Since putting these on the couch about two weeks ago, it hasn't noticeably moved at all...and that's after a week of the two dogs playing daily, running each other into it. Two thumbs up!

Just recently changed from carpet to hard floors. Bought these to protect floor from scratches. They are excellent and have a lot if cushion. Very satisfied!

Worked very well as anti skid pad on laminated floor. Placed on sofa lags. Also worked very well for the stainless steel step-on trash can. Otherwise, it moves sideways every time step on it.
