Bought this in King size. When I opened the box I questioned my choice. It looked like there were a thousand pieces and we would be all night putting it together. SURPRISE!! it took about 45 minutes at the most and that was because my boyfriend insisted on helping. Without him, maybe 20-30 LOL. It was that easy. I was stunned by how strong the bed was. We are both over 300 lbs. and it didn't even creak. We thought we needed a new mattress. Turns out we needed the platform on this bed. I would give this bed a 10 if I could. I will follow up on how it holds up to our weight for other plus size folks looking for a good bed, but for now, it's a 10 for me.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. This is a fantastic bed frame... so unbelievably easy to put together and extremely strong and sturdy. When they said no tools needed, I thought "Oh, boy, here we go with those pesky Allen wrenches again", but no! Much to my surprise, they provided a socket wrench to put everything together.

Great pictoral instructions. All parts were wrapped separately and clearly labeled. Even the hardware was separated out and nicely packaged. It came in one box, no dents or dings, and was assembled in less than an hour.

The legs have rubber on the bottom so it doesn't scratch the floor. The horizontal metal slats had velcro to hold them in place.

This was my first platform bed purchase, and I would definitely buy this again. It's about 14 inches from the floor, so there's plenty of storage space underneath. I like the low footboard to keep the mattress in place. This frame is going to last a lifetime. If I had more bedrooms, I would buy one for each room. It's such an improvement from the wobbly bedframes with wooden slats. Buy it, you won't be sorry!

It took me 45 min from start to finish to put this bed together by myself. It was very easy to do. They give you all the tools and a cute little light hex wrench.
The bed seems sturdy and I couldn't make it squeak. I had bought another platform metal bed for my avocado mattress and the slats were too far apart. The slats on this bed are perfect there is no sagging of the mattress and it doesn't slide around. Overall I have to say great bed for a great price. I was so wrong!
After 1 month
The bed squeaks! I started having back problems after we had the bed for a week I tired 3 different things to make the problem stop but nothing seems to help. We used a bunkie board, extra slats, and a box spring. The problem with the box spring and the bunkie boards was they cause a hard lump in the middle of the mattress due to the way it reacted with the bed frame. That was starting to cause a lump in our mattress and it made the mattress slide more. It's was kind of like the slip and slide mattress on this frame if it wasn't for the foot board the whole think might slide off. I tried the slats but there is a bar in the middle of the bed for support it is hard and higher then all of the other slats. That middle bar is what is killing our backs. I finally gave up and put the mattress on the floor. My back problem was fixed. Thus making this frame useless but pretty. By the time I found it it was the frame and not the mattress I can't return the frame any more. Don't buy this skip it.

scratches on frame and i asked for some ouch up paint to fix myself and they told me i had to send the whole thing back....yeah right. Already got rid of old frame and now they want it to be disassembled, shipped back and wait for a new one. Incredible waste of manpower and money. A $5 tube of touch up paint is all i need. guess ill live with the scratches. they never answered my concern or request even after 3 weeks so I had to contact Amazon to get that info. still havent replied to my request...dont guess they will, ever.

No joke, I put this together in like 30 minutes, maybe less. It came with all of the tools that I needed and even a little tightening wrench. It is really sturdy and I don’t see that changing because most of the screws tighten directly into the metal frame itself rather than having bolts and fasteners. My last frame was falling apart due to nuts and washers just dropping off of it, so I’m really excited about this one. I put a 12 in linenspa mattress on top, which covers the whole foot board, which I’m okay with. Very happy.

This was the fourth bed I ordered through Amazon and the first one that was not damaged or had missing parts....Hurray! The interior package had tears at the corners, but all pieces were in excellent condition and without damage. The directions were clear and assembly was easy. I completed assembly in 15 minutes. The only tricky part was putting the two pieces of the headboard together, you must push in slow increments on alternating sides.

The bed was purchased for a disabled child who weighs 105 pounds. He rocks heavily throughout the night and the bed has held up well. I have not needed to tighten the screws after the first two weeks of use.

The style is simplistic but it meets our needs and the needs of our child. I would purchase again.

We opened the box and baulked at the fact of the amount of pieces in it - however, we were pleasantly surprised. The build and design of this bed is amazing. It requires very little hardware and goes together very easily - instructions were great. 10/10 recommend. We love this!
