My cat pees on the couch all the time and I was hoping this would save it. But no. I just laid it out on the couch for the first time and couple hours later, there was a puddle of pee. However it went right through it, onto the couch. Very disappointed for spending this much for something that didn’t work.

Update: Still works great! I ordered two for my expensive La-Z-Boy sofas because our 4 month old Vizsla puppy had peed on it and our covers aren't waterproof. (I bought the sofas before we adopted Josie who was retiring from breeding and she got pregnant before we picked her up, so surprise pups, and we kept Evey so please don't judge). I researched and figured this would be a great idea. I've had the covers on for about a week now and trusted her as she and her mother slept, and I took a shower. I didn't notice she peed until about 30 minutes after I got out of the shower. It was a large pee spot in the middle of the cover and it trapped all the urine! I was so happy to pull it back and feel my dry sofa cushions! I just put this cover in my older top load washer and it fits well. The only negative is constantly readjusting it when the girls get the zoomies and move around a lot. It helps to have it backed against a wall so it isn't that big of a deal. I ordered a oversized so there is a lot of coverage. I warn that if a mess is made in the edge of the cushion and armrest that it may run down into the sofa but thankfully Evey didn't manage that. I recommend a urine destroyer foam and laundry booster if you've got pet pee problems (Natures Miracle spray fabric foam and laundry booster is what I use).

Bought two of these for our extra deep couches from Crate & Barrel. They are comfortable and fit well, with plenty of fabric to tuck them in so they are secure. My one complaint is that they are somewhat stiff and bulky, so they are not easy to wash. I have a large top load washer with no agitator; they fit for washing, but the stiffness means they don’t move well in the washer to really get clean. Plus, they take a long time to dry. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase, just wish washing them was easier.

I purchased this extra long/large because my current non-waterproof cover was too short. I have two cats and once in a while they will hack on the couch and its fairly new so I dont want it stained. They dont scotchgard them anymore. Its stiffer than I thought but tha'ts because of the water proof layer. I have not washed it yet. Its still actually a few inches too short. Its comfortable to sit on or take a nap but the cat hair sticks to it like glue. I put my old cover over it.... it will be easier to just put it in the drier to get the hair off of it. I do not have any problem keeping it in place on my fabric sofa.

We bought 2 covers for our sofas and one cover for our recliner. Our labs love the covers and so do we! Labs shed all year long and these covers are easy to vacuum and clean. The material is very durable. Our labs weigh 85 and 90 pounds and do not move the covers too much. On the other hand, a 225 pound man can move them but they are easy to adjust back into place because they have no elastics! Overall, we are very satisfied and as you can see so are our labs!

Originally I would have rated this cover a 4 out 5 stars, but unfortunately the stitching on one of the arm covers has come undone.

I bought this back in August 2018 and while it has done a good job of keeping my sofa clean, the seam of the arm cover has become unstitched. I have 3 small dogs and 2 cats and I bought this to keep the sofa clean. I like the product well enough, but do have a couple of grievances. 1) Obviously the durability was not very good. I have washed the cover a handful of times and while it has continued to remain waterproof the seam has come apart. (Regarding the waterproofness... I have never let a spill or "accident" sit on the cover, but have found it soon after it had happened and immediately washed it. 2) My only other complaint is that the cover moves around a lot. I typically have to fix it several times in an evening, but this has been something I've been willing to put up with in order to have a pleasant looking protective cover on my sofa.

I have a brand new living room set and the first thing the cat did when I brought it home was P on it. I brought in someone to professionally It and then immediately got on Amazon to look for covers. I got one for my couch and it’s amazing. My aging cats have puked and urinated on it and it has never leaked through. It washes very easily it does not retain orders and when I put it back on th couch it looks brand new. It’s nice to be able to keep my furniture looking new since it will be around longer than my elderly cats will and I don’t have to worry about them ruining my new furniture and it’s not their fault that they are incontinent or sometimes sick at their age. It was the perfect solution and I am glad that I went with this company.
