Do not buy this bed. It cannot support a mattress. The slats that it comes with are supported, if you can use that term, by wooden pegs that do not even touch the floor. The four slats (about 2 inches wide apiece) seem to be made of the flimsiest material I've ever seen and started to split apart immediately upon building. Nothing weight bearing about any of it. I had to return. It's a joke. Please save yourself some time and effort and look elsewhere. I can't believe anyone sells this bed - it's truly unsafe!

You can see from the pictures that I can fit my full hand under the pegs which ought to be flush with the floor (but even if they WERE touching the ground, they are not strong enough to bear the weight of even the lightest mattress). You can see pieces of the slats that began to break off too. Highly recommend looking elsewhere for safety reasons alone.

This is a nice looking bed frame. I'm not too sure about the quality. It is yet to be seen how durable and long-lasting it will be. The wood slats that hold the box springs and mattress are very thin. (Yes, box springs are needed with this platform bed.) We are using this in a guest bedroom, so it won't get a lot of use.

I supervised my husband assembling it. I saw the other reviewer's pictures where the legs did not touch the ground. We did not have that problem. Nor did we have the problem of the wood splintering. I'm not sure if it was a quality-control issue, or the black vertical legs that attach to the headboard were put on backwards (which my husband did initially). In addition, our bed sits on thick carpet.

All of that being said, we also have the queen-size version of the Novogratz Her Majesty Upholstered Linen Bed, Tufted Wingback Design and Wooden Legs, King Size - Grey Linen. The Novogratz bed frame is a much better quality bed frame, AND it does not need box springs. That bed frame is used daily, and is of a noticeable better quality. Given a choice between the two, I like the Novogratz one better.

Headboard is of a good quality, though I expected the denim to be a bit darker. It's somewhat dark and has a nice shape to it, it's also sturdy. Headboard is covered in a thick denim fabric. Bed dimensions 81.5" L x 64.25" W x 53.5" H. All parts are located in a zipper compartment on the back. It was also well packaged and all fit into a compact long box. In the box you get the headboard panel, left and right leg, footboard panel and foot pied side rails, center support and center support legs and slat. Hardware included. Has a one-year limited warranty. Nice bed, good price.

This is a frame and matching headboard set. Mattress and box springs must be purchased separately. The headboard as well as the frame is upholstered. Classic styling. Works very well with both earth tones and jewel tones. Easy assembly. Does not sit very high off the floor, so this is not the type of frame where you will be able to store much of anything underneath.
