Assembling was relatively easy but do yourself a favor and use a screwdriver with a T25 bit (or equivalent allen wrench size) otherwise you'll be taking forever with the allen wrench. The bottom board did not have predrilled holes like the other boards (which had predrilled holes with a plastic threaded insert.

The boards were all labeled with stickers and the adhesive was not easy to get off. You can peel the sticker off easily but it leaves residue that you have to work at to remove. The bottom board had two big stickers and I was trying to get all the paper/adhesive off and gave up. I decided to make that piece face the floor but still it's a bit frustrating the adhesive is so difficult to remove.

Some of the laminate on the boards have odd scratch-like textures on them. It looks like they were machined that way not that they were damaged in shipping or anything. The bottom board has them and I was trying to make them face the floor but the damn sticker removal was so frustrating I just gave up and put the marked side of the board face up. I'll have stuff on the shelf which should help hide the weird scratch looking marks.

I bought this shelf to house my plants. I could totally fit more on there. Now I have an excuse to buy more plants!

The shelf was pretty easy to assemble. It took me about 20 mins. I love the look as well. It matches my coffee table and living room.

If you don’t own a drill, don’t purchase this item. The sellers do not pre-drill holes in the shelves to enable you to screws them to the frame. You can’t build this bookshelf without your own power tools.

Nice little unit, instructions were a little confusing because the pictures didn't quite match tune unit, but able to be figured out.
