Let me start off by saying I'm no amateur when it comes to Tanning Lotions, even those with Bronzers. This product works as described. There's really nothing else to say about that. But, there are quite a few asterisks's that should be discussed. Foremost, I wouldn't advise anyone who is really fair-skinned or pasty white to start off using this product and I will go into detail why. This product has a 100X bronzer in it, And not just a developing bronzer (One that helps boost your tan's natural color as it develops), but also an instant bronzer which gives you a little glow within an hour or two of using it in the tanning bed for immediate results. With that said, Streaking and orange spots are possible with this product if not applied correctly and thoroughly. When applying this product, you need to be sure that you A. Apply evenly over the areas you wish to use it on. B. Rub it in completely. This is very important. Rub it in until your skin doesn't feel "wet" anymore. C. Areas that have thin skin will bronze quicker than other areas. These areas include Arm Pits, Kneecaps, elbows, and feet/hands and under your wrist. I would advise using a lesser amount over these areas or those spots will end up looking darker and more "orange" than the rest. Always wash your hands after applying this product. Failure to do so will result in orange palms and in between fingers due to the multiple applications/concentrated amounts. Use a mild hand soap to wash between fingers, your palms and under your fingernails and cuticles. These are easy to avoid but you can't just slather it on and hop in the tanning bed and expect a perfect finishing tan. Apply it right. If you are fair skinny/pale, I would suggest using a tanning lotion with a developer to boost your tanning color first and once you start getting a little golden, then you can use a product like this with such a high bronzer. Using this much bronzer on such pale skin will leave you orange. I have personally always used Designer Skin Products with bronzers and have never had this much issues when using this. If this seems too much for you, I would suggest going down to the Solid Black 50X Bronzer.

I went to the tanning bed for 6 days in a row at 10 min each session! This tanning lotion let me get from Snow White to a bronze beauty so quickly! It has a nice brown tone, NO orange at all which is great for someone so pale like myself! And it has a pleasant smell! Make sure you leave it on for 3+ hours after you tan before taking a shower tho!

I never write reviews, but this product deserves one! I have been doing in-door tanning for about a year now. I have tried 3 different lotions... even the $70+ ones they sell in the salon. Nothing worked well. I went on Amazon and looked for lotion based on the average customer reviews and this product was #1 and I agree!! I have very fair skin and I go tanning every other to two days and when I’ve been using Solid Black, it made me golden brown!! With my wedding right around the corner, this was perfect!! I also see a lot of people saying it’s fake — It’s not. I did research and saw what the fake bottle looked like. I highly recommend this tanning lotion for ANYONE. It works!! And it’s a great price!!

All the idiots posting pictures of their stained hands, have no business even using a bronzer. They are so pasty white and need to work up to this product, if at all. Great product if you tan well.

This product is very good and I have purchased this tanning lotion for $60 at a salon before so I know for a fact this is the real lotion and not a fake. People are giving less then 5 star reviews because it stained their hands which is slightly comical because it proves the lotion is doing it’s job which would indicate a 5 star rating but the user didn’t wash their hands so they give it less! Wow Lol Also it should be noted that it has bronzer in it therefore you are supposed to keep it on for more then 30 mins. One reviewer said they didn’t notice any color which is probaly because instead of leaving it on after they tan for several hours or applying it to the skin hours before they tan they immediately got in the shower after their session and wash it all off and then complained about no color. Lol This is also a user problem and not a problem with the product. I leave my lotion on for atleast 6 hours if not more. Lastly People said it was blotchy this is due to it not being rubbed in and just slapped on quickly any bronzer will do that if you can’t take more then 3 seconds to rub it into your skin duh. So with PROPER use of this product you will get noticeably darker skin in one use.

I was skeptical about purchasing this product, based on what I had read about streaking, fake product, etc. Well, let me tell you, I am now on my third bottle. This product is amazing. I am tanning 4x a week, late evening. I cover myself with this lotion form head (yes, face included) to toe. I do this at home and let it dry, then I head to the salon, about 10 minutes away, tan and then return home and apply a second coat as a moisturizer. I don't shower until the following morning. This really has jump started my base tan for summer. My skin is a dark bronze and incredibly smooth. It even has softened my coarse chest hair. And I intend to use it for outdoor tanning once summer arrives. I recommend this product!
