Seems comfortable and outer material seems to be of quality. Be mindful this thing comes in 5 parts: the middle sleep area and 4 cushions around it to form the shape. We ordered a medium based on dimensions. However, the actual flat, sleeping area on the medium is about 25” x 16” x 4” which is smaller than we wanted. The 6” thickness they measure is the outer cushion, which is not what a dog actually sleeps on. It would be great if the seller would clarify this in their images. This is pricey for the actual sleep area in our opinion.
Just not what was I was expecting. Wouldn't have purchased if i had known what I was getting.
Though our dog loved the bed, and it was easy to assemble. The seam on the cover loosened after just two weeks of use. The bed is also quite bulky, beware if using in a small space.
My dog loves it
Very nice.
Excellent!
My 22 lbs Cavalier King Charles Spaniel loves his Casper. We have had the small bed for a year and a half and it is seriously the best bed ever. I have washed it every Sunday since purchased and the case is still in perfect condition. When I adopted my little guy, he had quite a few hip and joint issues. This bed has made a miraculous difference and he seems to walk with a little bit more bounce in his step. The cover is awesome--Casper designed the top of the bed to have a little bit more fabric than it needs so dogs can feel like they're digging into something--this also seems to prevent my dog from digging an actual hole into his bed. The second photo I posted is from traveling, the small bed fits inside my suitcase when fully assembled. He managed to sniff it out and laid in my suitcase while I was packing--he loves it that much.
I have two grievances. The first: Casper does not sell extra covers--this would be helpful when I'm washing the cover. He gets grumpy when I'm doing housework and his bed is disassembled. Second: the case is not waterproof or even water resistant. He has gotten into his bed after a rainy day walk and it soaked the memory foam. I used arm and hammer pet deodorizer spray foam on the memory foam, since it's not machine washable, and let it air dry to try to tackle any potential odors. It worked and now I know not to let him get in after a bath or rainy walk. Regardless, it's definitely a design flaw.
I'll end my ridiculously long review by saying that despite these two flaws, I just purchased a second Casper bed so I can keep one at home and work--it's just that good!
Expensive but totally worth it. My 11 year old dog can shred a dog bed in a week with her normal digging and turning, and she would rather sleep in my bed than hers. Until now! Got one of these a few months ago and it's still good as new. It's as tough as advertised and I guess it's just as comfy because she prefers it over any of the furniture in the house. She's happy, I'm happy, and now she will be even happier because I'm buying a second one for the living room. Thanks Casper!
Great little bed for our little critter! We adopted an adult dog that was satisfied with sleeping on the ground. Not in our house! You get a bed. I was concerned with comments about the cover durability, as we discovered she's a "Sleep Digger" but so far so good! Who knew dogs would get so worked up in their sleep as to dig!
