Ok, so thoughts once assembled is that the bed is sturdy and looks good. If you assemble this bed using the included hex key it's going to take you a while. I found one I could fit I'm my cordless drill and it cut the time in half. There are a LOT of pieces so it works best to sort them before starting so you know where everything is. I wouldnt want to attempt this by myself as it helps to have someone hold the long sections up while the other person installs the hardware. The wood had some good sized dents and one very noticable corner gouge upon arrival. Overall I'm impressed with the quality if this bed for the price. My 10 year old is extremely excited about it.
Pro's:
-Sturdy
-Good looking wood
-Quality hardware
-Perfect for 8' ceilings
-easy to follow instructions
-quick shipping
Cons:
-Wood had scratches and dents upon arrival
-Stickers all over everything and they are a PITA to get off the wood
-Box was pretty well beat up and could have been packaged better
Delivery was timely. Box was in decent shape. We began to assemble & the instructions were clear enough to be able to assemble it without a major headache. The holes/hardware aligned without issues. It came together within about a 2 hour timeframe. It definitely is easier with 2 people. I can't imagine having to do it alone. We assembled each side downstairs & then brought it upstairs & then assembled it fully together up there in my son's room. He loves it!! It is reasonable sturdy (actually more so than I expected) however it does make some noise as he climbs on. (He only weighs about 75 lbs). I have been up there & it held me fine (grown adult female ~125lbs).
This loft bed is surprisingly excellent quality and very well made. The pieces all fit together nicely and are sturdy. My daughter is thrilled with this. Also, the customer service is excellent - I had a minor question and they got back to me very rapidly in a kind way too.
I am a petite adult weighing at approximately 120lbs and the bed holds up pretty nicely. I just got the bed assembled 2 days ago and am still in the process of rearranging everything in my room so it’s a bit messy, but as you can see in the pictures I have so much more room and can put my shelves under the bed now. Hopefully I can come back and edit this review and upload a picture or two after I am done moving things around. Just waiting for a day off from work. Great purchase! Glad to have chosen this bed!
Solid frame. While assembling, some liquid thread lock is advised. It will become wobbly over time. This little trick keeps this loft more sturdy. We've had ours for 2 years and it's still going strong. And I've even slept in it. I'm 6'1" 180 lbs and it has no problems supporting dad.
Better than advertised. Solid bed, no complaints. Has held up with rambunctious kids, no wobbling/noises. You will need two people to put it together, took us about 2-3 hours. Make sure to get a 6 inch mattress or the side rails will not be tall enough (I purchased the Aveline foam mattress off of here and i highly recommend it)
Overall, a good loft bed. The design is a little more sturdy than another loft bed that we bought a here a couple years ago. The instructions were good and it went together relatively easily. Definitely a 2 person job. Only drawbacks were 2 mislabeled pieces and a long thin piece that was cracked (fixed with glue.) I would purchase again.
Some of the parts seemed missing when first putting together but it turns out they were elsewhere in the box, outside the partially opened hardware box. Also, one of the posts had missing drill holes which I was able to put in myself. Further, one of the screws it came with was not screwable (the slot for the hex key was engraved) and it came with no extra hardware for such issues.
