Horrible product, poor quality. Very loud noise, didn’t mix flour well. And very hard to clean. After one time use ( for the package yesterday, using it this morning), I decided to return the product immediately. Thing twice before purchasing. A lesson I learnt, I got for what I paid for it. Poor poor poor product. Do not recommend.
This little mixer has been very handy! It’s not noisy and works great. The bowl is easily removable by turning it and pulling up. The beaters and bowl are of good quality and wash up easily in the dishwasher. It also has a little black switch on the base that changes the position of the bowl so that it can blend in the center or switch to blending along the sides of the bowl. It tilts up easily to remove beaters or bowl. Also, I often drag a silicone batter spatula along the sides when it’s blending in the center to help remove any ingredients stuck to the side of the bowl. It’s a cute blender and looks great sitting on my counter top. I’ve always dreamed of a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, but until we win the lottery (HA!) this is a great alternative that was a budget no brainer for a cute stand, effective stand mixer.
This was my second time using this. Both times the blades have been very hard to insert but it worked the first time. This time the blade broke making mashed potatos! You could see where it was rusted at the hinges! I just bought this....are you kidding? Now not only do I have to remake my dish but I have to clean up a huge mess. Very disappointed.
This is a nice little mixer for a fraction of the price of other stand mixers. Several batches of Oatmeal Scotchie cookies have already been made as well as several cakes with homemade frosting,
Pros: Affordability, basic functionality is adequate, small footprint, quality seems adequate
Cons: Head tilt is a little awkward to manage, beaters are hard to eject, only one bowl (I'm used to having the two different sized bowls that came with old-fashioned mixers), beaters seem a little flimsy - I am concerned that they will not hold up.
I would definitely recommend this to someone who needs a stand mixer and has limited funds. It does the job.
Honestly disappointed in this product. While I knew it wouldn’t be kitchen aid quality, I was surprised by how lightweight it felt. It was extremely loud too. I was hoping to have something better than a handheld mixer but I would chose that over this. Would not recommend for baking more than simple box recipes that don’t require low or medium speeds. This seems to have high and turbo speeds only. I hate to be so negative but it was a big disappointment.
I just saw the price and makes me even more upset. i paid over $100 for this. 6 months later for no reason it just stopped working. How is this thing going for $37 now?!
Love it!! Works very well, super light, easy to clean, and looks fantastic in my retro kitchen. My only complaint is that the lowest speed is still pretty high.
How to unlock bowl. The ring the bowl sit on has a lock and unlock sign Twist bowl ring to unlock see in picture, just make sure u lock the bowl or it will fly off. I just got this and made cookie lovely
Considering the price of this mixer i cannot fault it at all. I bought this for my small business making batches of cosmetics/bath products. The bowl is so much bigger than I thought and is quite tall, which is perfect when adding powdered ingredients as they don’t puff out when you turn the mixer on. Even the slowest setting was good enough to whip up solid Shea butter easily which I was quite impressed with. There is an option to slide the bowl along the base with a lever, this isn’t something I’ve seen before but found it really useful because you can move the bowl to make sure the beaters catch whatever is on the sides. The stainless steel is really easy to clean and the design is lovely and very cute. It’s compact and small but still big enough to make a decent amount. I have even put away my expensive kenwood mixer and replaced it with this one because it is so much more user friendly and light. You can fit it in a narrow kitchen cupboard with loads of space still. It is so sturdy as well and the materials are probably better quality than mixers I’ve had costing over £100. I’ve also found expensive mixers might shake a lot and move around on the worktop but this didn’t even budge. I love this little mixer and honestly can’t find one thing wrong with it for the price which surprised me as I wasn’t expecting much for £13. I’ve seen a lot of people write negative reviews on this mixer (there are a few on amazon) because it is small but that is the whole point and it is ridiculously cheap.
Such a great mixer for the price!
