I did hours of research on affordable knives, that also had an aesthetically pleasing look to them before *finally* committing to a purchase!

Boy, was I glad that I did! These have been fantastic! I haven't had to use a sharpener at all yet (Though it is recommended after so much use)! I have nothing but good things to say, honestly, but I don't want to be a cliche, so lets get down to teh basics.

I was mainly looking for a quality Chef's Knife, Paring Knife and Carving Knife - everything else was a bonus! The peeler works wonders! I have a garden and had loads of cucumbers this year, and the peeler cuts like butter! I almost weeped when I used the carving knife as well - I had an unthawed pack of bacon that needed to be cut into cubes - no time to stick it in the freezer to get a bit solid - so I broke out the carving knife and NEVER have I had an experience where the blade just went straight through unthawed meat like that! I was *AMAZED*.

Need I say more? If you are having doubts, don't. Just go for it! It's a great, affordable product that looks beautiful on your kitchen counter. Make the plunge!

First of all, I didn't realize that I was ordering "2" with my one order, especially for the excellent price point. I had originally bought this for my son's college apartment. I am SO glad that it was a set of "2"!! So far I am loving them. I have been wanting to replace my old set of knives and have been putting it off. I am very pleased with this knife set. The clear display block and the way it is displayed gives an elegance to the set.

Btw, awesome email reminding a review so that's something to look forward to! The knives work well, all showed up in minimalist packaging and are good quality. Came very sharp and the sharpener includes a maintenance sharpen setting and an after every use setting. Very cool.

The cheese and pizza knives are definitely the stars here. I never realized I had a difficult time cutting cheese until using this. Now it comes with cool patterns and doesn't stick to the blade. And the pizza knife is way easier than a pizza roller, which I wasn't expecting in the slightest.

The stand is rigorous plastic and works well. I personally would have preferred wood cuz that's just who I am but the plastic is stylistic and not disproportionately large for what's included.

If your debating getting this for a whole set need, this is definitely worth the price.

Update: have had for about a year or so. The black fijish on the most used blades has started to come off as I expected. Also, one of the stainless steel knobs that help insert the knives in the stand comes loose if you let it. Overall still very much worth the price and regret nothing.

Nice knife set. Really great seller also. My girlfriend loves this set. They are really sharp. No fighting to cut meat with this set. Unlike our previous set. They have been washed many times. No signs of rust. I've never used a pizza knife before. It works great. Really sharp but honestly prefer a
regular pizza cutter. The knife gets you had close to pizza top "unless I haven't used it as intended" which is highly possible. But it cut pizza with ease. Haven't used knife sharpener yet but We are very happy with it all. Thanks for a great experience and set

We needed a new set of knives. I didn't want to spend a ton of money so I tried these.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how well they are made and how well they are holding up.
I'm not too happy about the pizza knife so I just use the normal pizza cutter I already had. Other than that?

The knife set is beautiful. It comes with 8 different types of knives then also six steak knives. I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he has raved about how beautiful the chef's knife is. Everything he wanted in a knife set. We appreciate this product because unlike a normal block set you are able to see if the holder needs cleaning. The holder is made of plastic but seems sturdy. The only thing we were confused about is the 2 sided peeler, which neither of us has ever used before. We have not used this product yet since it was a Christmas gift and we are saving it for our new home. It is super sleek and we love the beauty and simplicity of the knives. This company checked on my arrival of the knives several times and showed how much they care. I have never wrote a review before on a product so that is saying something in itself.

I am giving this set 3 stars because it is "worth the price" I say that meaning this is a $30 knife set and that's it.
If you are looking for something cheap, that works and you don't do a lot of prepping this set is most likely for you. However for people like me who work in a kitchen and cook all their meals at home this is not a good set. The knives are sharp but that is about it. The handles are made from cheap plastic with no weight to them. The color is not baked in so one simple test, and my knife was scratched. These knives are one step above something you would find at walmart. In this case you get what you pay for.
As far as the stand I personally did not like it, it was not a good fit for my counter, and reading all the reviews everyone said the stand was great so I gave it a shot.
I am very disappointed, and will be returning these. As I said before if you are looking for a complete set, that is cheap and pretty this is the set for you, but they were not for me.

Aesthetically pleasing looking set however the peeler broke quite easily. I may have just been unlucky with a faulty peeler as the knives seem to be very strong, however the peeler broke just being used on a carrot on the first use. I would appreciate if a replacement peeler could be sent out.

Excellent set looks great and love the addition of the steak knives ! The potato peeler came slightly snapped but not unusable and customer service immediately sent out a whole new set in replacement for free ,excellent service and great product!
