I purchased this bed because of the 18" of storage. i live in a tiny apt with minimal storage. I was able to take all the large safelight storage tubes and slide them easily under the bed. I now have room in my closets! Then I ordered from Amazon a dust ruffle to hide the colorful tubs (look for split corner with 18" drop, many colors). I had been sleeping on a platform bed so I liked the heavy close slats. I bought from Amazon an 8" Queen Mattress, RUUF, with this mattress I also don't need a mattress cover.. You can see it does not block much of the design and with a high bed I did not want my feet dangling. Feels perfect! Bouncing, it feels super solid and makes no noise. Still shopping on Amazon, I bought the highly rated Mezzati sheet set. I had an imperfect part and had great immediate help to get the issue fixed. TERRIFIC! I am a single middle aged woman and put the bed together by myself. I used the tool provided with a rubber mallet to pound the tool to screw in the parts but I did not need any help or a drill. I sat on an ottoman, see pic. I did it all myself. I am super pleased with this bed and my other Amazon purchases for this bed.

I put this bed together in about an hour. I saw one review where the customer said one side had the supports all on the opposite side, but that's impossible. You can flip it around and the supports look like they are on the wrong side, but the piece is the same on both ends, so you can turn it around and it is fine.

I got this as an extra bed for my grandkids when they sleep over, and I'm using an older mattress that has a hump in the middle. It's bad for my back, but they don't even notice. Kids, ya know? Anyway I put it on the bed and slept on it myself to make sure the bed was safe and was something they can sleep on. I can't believe the great night's sleep I got. It's like that old mattress was brand new again. It was soooo comfortable. I think it's all down to how supportive those metal cross pieces are. I slept like a rock for 10 hours. Best sleep I ever got.

This is a great bed frame for a few reasons:
1. If you have a small spaced apt and can’t get a boxspring inside. Or your boxspring broke and you can’t afford a whole new bed
2. If your mattress is starting to sag this frame will definitely firm it up.
3. If you need extra storage space! Omg the space underneath is amazing!
4. If you have chronic pain or back pain and have a hard time getting in or out of bed, the height of the bed makes it so much easier because of it being taller than a traditional bed that you’re not bending down or pulling yourself up.

I have 2 cons/suggestions:
1. It has made my really saggy mattress so firm because there’s no bounce so now I need a thick, soft, mattress topper.
2. The headboard has a gap between mattress and bars so the pillows tend to want to fall between them down to the floor. Possibly a cheap body pillow will help?

Otherwise it was easy to put together, I used the tools they sent. I think the price is great and it’s a nice clean pretty look. And I was worried about it being sturdy but it feels nice and solid.

Today’s update on this product. 01-29-20
Well customer service w/ Christian was great. He made it as painless & easy as possible for me. Thank you for that. I appreciate it. Sent me a new unit so I could replace the damaged part on the bed..& attempted to make it easy for me to return the damaged unit as well..Also appreciate that. I have to call back & set up that pickup again..because UPS came before the delivery of new unit & the fix. A little inconvenient that it took 4 days to receive..but at least doing their best at Amazon trying to help me get this resolved thus far. I also appreciate. However, w/ being a first time ordered myself from Amazon..just not liking all the damage products. As I will also have to be contacting them on the memory foam gel mattress I ordered for this bed as well is a damaged unit too. It’s suppose to be a 10” mattresses & as of 3pm today..the 48 hrs on the mattresses inflate time will be up..& at best the mattress is 9 1/4” some places & worst 8 1/2 inches others.
So I am very dismayed at this. It’s taken 2 weeks to try & get a working spare room & bed frame..If I had just went to a couple stores & bought these items. It would have been over & done a week ago. And now I will have to hope I get the same great service about the mattress..& wait for that again..& hope & pray the new one they will send to replace will be what it’s suppose to be at 10”...& quality to follow.
For now I will upgrade my review to 3⭐️s..instead of 2. I am hoping over time w/ next update after using the frame..I can raise those stars more..because I do like this bed frame.

This bed frame is easy to set up & put together & directions easy to follow. So to replace the new part out was an inconvenience..but easy enough to do..since I put the frame together, w/ only minor help from my daughter.

I will up date this as time follows...as I haven’t used the bed yet. So to be able to tell you how great, sturdy the quality of frame is..l cannot tell you that at this pint. What I can tell you is that the construction of frame seems very sturdy & strong..as does the way they have constructed all the extra support beams, slats & legs to hold it. And if you are looking for a bed w/ ample storage space underneath....you will definitely get that w/ this frame...even for larger/taller totes. That I love. The frame is just simple & elegant..not an eye catcher..but very nice if your into simplicity w/ design.

I bought this frame along w/ a new gel foam mattress off Amazon. I heard of a lot of other people placing orders for stuff w/ Amazon & thought I would give it a try. I don’t really care for all this shopping on line. I’d much rather go to the stores work face to face w/ real people..plus..don’t really like putting my info out on the web.
Anyway, I heard they had some decent prices on a couple things our household needed & I had a very tight budget to work w/ & friend suggested I ck it out. After doing plenty of research I settled on a particular mattress & then this HAAGEEP bed frame..because of the reviews but also the 1609 lb capacity the frame states to have. Not that we are big people..we’re not. But if you read some of the weight limits & problems of reviews on others..they have next to know weight limits. This is for spare room, but still I want to get my moneys worth..even if the price is more than reasonable.
Anyway..putting the frame together so far seemed to be a breeze as it arrived yesterday the 23rd of Jan. 2020..my daughter helped just by holding & supporting a few things. However; as we got to the part to put the middle support beam on...before we would start laying all the 8 metal slats across the frame..She said Mom...look at this.... I turned & couldn't believe my eyes...specially...because defects such as this..aren’t suppose to make it out of the factory where production begun. The inspectors job at the factory’s which is to inspect all pieces..prior to packing or shipping..should have caught this oversight way before it shipped out to people or stores.,for any & all such defects.
So the piece labeled G for this product which goes for the right hand side of the bed when facing headboard..& is the bedrail that secures the headboard to the footboard on that side..has half of the metal catch hooks that hold the metal planks for support welded to them right side up the way they should be..& unfortunately...the other half of those are welded upside down..wouldn’t be able to hold a slat much less the peanut butter sandwich I just ate.
Everything was going great on this bed & the other side of the bed too..up until that point. I just sat & looked in aww...thinking...’You’ve got to be freaking kidding me’ & how did that get past inspection at the factory....

So anyway..I did just purchase the item...I will be calling customer service..We will see how that goes..hopefully..Lord willing..they will just over night me that part..I don’t want to have to take complete bed down. This bed frame does have a protective warranty from defects..etc..another positive reason I chose it..beside the weight capacity stated, the underneath space, the plain yet..simple elegance to its style & function..was the warranty too. And frankly you cannot get any more defective than that...lol...

So I will be updating on this over time. At this put I cannot give you a complete satisfactory, thumbs up or endorse the product just yet..but hopefully that will change.

I bought this bed for each of my four girls, they and I absolutely love them. Very well made no squeaks. They love how high it stands allows the younger two to play fort under the bed. It’s elegant enough for the two older girls. All around GREAT bed. Husband had no problems or complaints putting the beds together.
