I went to put it together, opened up the instruction booklet, and it stated it supports up to 250 lbs. If you plan on sleeping with someone else, better watch your calories or take turns sleeping in shifts.
Would be great if it didn't have very sharp corners sticking out from the end of the bed beyond the mattress. If the company would fix this defect, it would be perfect.
This frame was easy to put together, however, it was about an inch too short for the metal headboard that I purchased it for. My boyfriend was going to drill holes into a metal plate to get it to work, so I left it assembled in my guest bedroom. About 2 hours after we assembled the bedframe, my sister asked me what the chemical smell was in the house. We couldn't figure it out for several hours and then realized it was coming from the bedframe. The smell was not noticeable untill the frame started to heat up once it was out of the box for a while. Our heat was running a lot on the day the frame was assembled and once the frame started to warm up, then the chemicals from the paint that was used to coat the bedframe started to release throughout our house. I had clothes drying in my guest room where the bedframe was located and they had the toxic chemical smell in them. I had to rewash the whole load, but some of it still smells. I ended up boxing the bedframe back up and sitting it outside on our porch, so the item was no longer in my house. I opened up the windows in my house upstairs yesterday to try and get the smell out, but that did not work completely. I can't believe that Amazon would sell this product in the first place. This item is made in China and they must use very TOXIC paint to cover the frame itself. This is definitely the worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon for health & safety issues.

Like all the other reviews I’m very happy with this purchase. I hope it lasts and that we don’t break it! Only time will tell. FYI there’s not a lot of space between the floor and the frame, but it’s plenty to tuck the front part of your shoes in like I do every night. Hope this helps!
I guess I should have read the description better. It's a basic frame thats held together by gravity. The frame doesn't have wheels and the cross members just sit in slots. If you shake the bed the frame wobbles all over the place. I would spend a little bit more if I were you and get a better made frame.
This bed frame is so nice I wish I could write one of those reviews that gets shared a million times on Social Media.
For a product that you will never see again after you set it up and place your bed on it, Amazon has thought of everything.
I bought two for my parents who are moving into assigned living, to replace a fifty year old frame that didn’t have a flange to attach headboards to. When the box arrived, it was so small and light, I feared there was a problem. Problem with an Amazon Basics purchase? Never. This product is so well thought out, even the packaging is well done. Take it out of the box, clip off some tie straps, and just unfold. Two, tubalar steel, black anondized bed rails appear like magic. Take three cross pieces out of plastic sleeves, slide them in place, and you are done. No sharp edges, no cut or pinched fingers, no blood blisters, no problem. Did I mention no tools required? Don’t like to read the small print? You won’t have to. Any average college student moving to a dorm can figure it out, with a beer in the other hand. The only question is, how can Amazon sell this so cheap? A bargain at twice the price. You won’t regret purchasing this item.
This is an incredibly clever and easy to assemble design, with the exception of one massive oversight. The supports that are designed to hold up the headboard are comically weak. When installing a headboard as instruction describe, the headboard with rock back and forth by 6". I remedied this problem by bolting the headboard to the back legs, but that should not be a requirement when using a bedframe. It's a shame as the rest of the assembly is really clever and high quality.
Yes, price was pretty affordable but didn't expect this kind of situation. I was going to use single mattress on this frame and when I put them together it didn't match at all ( the frame was too big for twin mattress). If you trying to lay on your bed you have to encounter this kind of situation ( as I attached photos). Of course I won't use this frame.. what is the meaning of sleeping on the frame which is not supporting at all?
Exactly what I was looking for! From start to finish this frame took me a minute and a half to put together. No screws just unfold the outside limbs, slide in the middle support beams and done. It's long enough to fit the whole queen size mattress and having 9 feet helps keep it nice and sturdy. Also won't have to get a new mattress as the sagging problem I thought was from the mattress being older was actually the lack of quality in the $200 old frame. You really get your money's worth with this frame. Super happy and would 100% recommend this to everyone.
Excellent product
So easy to use
No tools
Only recommendation is better cushioning on feet against hardwood floor we added our own and works perfect
A very solid bed frame. I'm a heavy man and this holds my box spring and mattress firmly. I only wish there was a railing edge to the frame so the box spring wouldn't move. I haven't had any such issues, but it would have provided greater piece of mind then a few pieces of velcro that 'stick' to the box spring.
My husband had every Mastercraft tool ready to assemble yet another bed frame. He was dumbfounded. He put it together in minutes. He’s in shock and I’m relieved.
Thank you for the awesome product.
