This couch is astounding. I would’ve expected to pay double or triple the amount that it is listed for. It is that good of heirloom quality. The blue velvet is one of the most beautiful blues as you can see from the photos. I was very hesitant because I have never purchased the sofa online. I will say that this is not necessarily a lounging sofa, but it is not uncomfortable. If you are looking for something Cushy and that you can sleep on, this is probably not the sofa for you. If you are looking for something that is drop dead gorgeous, reasonably comfortable that you can sit on for several hours, With a high and designer look for a third of the price, this is your sofa. It was a slightly a bit smaller than I expected even though I had measured it out, but I was coming from a sectional so that is to be expected. Everyone who sees it thinks it’s gorgeous. It’s so beautiful, in fact, I bought another for my sitting room.

I ordered this for an office with a bit of skepticism, as there weren't reviews and it's a rather unknown product. It arrived expeditiously, well packaged and well delivered with no damage to the container or contents. It's heavy, but not too heavy for 2 guys to haul around. Has a nice real wood frame (not particle board) and a very nice feeling fabric/velvet.

The parts for assembly are in a package hidden in a compartment on the bottom (inside a zipper). The zipper for the compartment was pretty poor, but serviceable. The actual "Assembly" consisted of bolting on the 5 main legs with a single bolt each and 2 screws each (which screw into the interior wood framing) - a screw gun is handy for that. A central support leg under the middle of this sofa also gets screwed in. The included accent pillow/cushions (the rectangular blue ones in the pics) are of decent quality.

The legs themselves are a very nice heavy solid cast type metal in a matte gold/brass type finish. The velvet is extremely soft, seems to be durable so far and miraculously doesn't hold pet hair at all. We have a small white dog at work that sheds all over and the hard just wipes off of this sofa. The arms and back are also cushioned nicely, and the back provides a reasonable amount of support. I've already had several people sit on the arms with no ill effect.

The color is fairly accurate to the pics (perhaps slightly darker). The cushion support would be classified as medium firm, but not overly hard. It's comfortable to lay down on, but if you're over 6' tall you can't completely stretch out.

Overall a very nice sofa for the money - guests are impressed by it and it fairly easily competes with other much more expensive pieces we have. Our experience is positive and I can positively recommend this sofa.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A DRILL.

This couch is a beauty- and (in the green) absolutely worth the $775.00 I paid for it- it looks like it cost TWICE as much. HOWEVER! There's only one pre-drilled hole for the legs- you have to DRILL THE OTHERS YOURSELF - 8 holes in total - otherwise the legs won't be steady at all. And you're drilling into upholstery, wood, cushioning - it's messy.

Other Notes:
-The velvet is buttery soft and looks super luxe.
-The couch itself is more 'bouncy' than 'cushy'- and feels like it should be in an office or formal living room- even a 'seating area' of a bedroom- it's not so much cushy cozy you lay in it all day kind of couch - but for the price it cant be beat/ add some super cushy pillows if that's what you're looking for.

This is a beautiful couch and fits perfectly in my tiny Manhattan living room. It also slid through my doorway with 0" to spare!! My friends have crashed on it, and they all attest it's very comfortable.

Most of the reviews are for the blue sofa and many of them talk about how vivid the color is. I was concerned that the green would be equally vivid (and too 90's "hunter green"). It has a muted, grayish tone to it that makes it not quite olive green but not emerald or hunter green.

I had no issues with assembly. It's firm, not hard. No complaints.

I love this sofa! It looks great, is very comfortable and the velvet is so soft. I love the hint of gold on the legs with the deep green. It gives the sofa a stylish modern look. Also it arrived in two days. It was very easy and quick to assemble but i do recommend a drill.
