I have a really small house and 21 months ago we ended up with a bonus baby! So now my husband and I share our room with our 21 month old daughter. Our bedroom is only 11x11 and after the king bed, the one dresser and the baby's pack-n-play there really isn't any more space available. The issue is that in order to fit her clothes in our closet we had to take out our winter clothes but then there was no where to put them. We had been storing them in the attic but this year when we brought them back down you could see the effect the Florida summer heat had, had on them. Our previous bed was really low profile so there was no way to store anything under it. Heck the Roomba barely fit under it. This new bed frame is perfect!
The bed was able to be assembled quickly and easily. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and we had our bed up in no time. I love that you don't need a box spring with this frame because our old one was actually pretty torn up and it gave me a reason to get rid of it. The mattress doesn't slide around and it feels very sturdy when you are sleeping on it. The only thing I found to be an issue is the bottom end of the frame. I normally put a dust ruffle on my bed but because the bottom raises up a little bit to make sure the bed doesn't slide off the end it makes the dust ruffle sit all funny. I solved this by folding that part up and only using the dust ruffle on the sides of the bed but something worth noting. Overall I love the frame and now I can buy all those cute little under bed storage cubbies.

I got this bed frame for my bed in the master bedroom, which is a memory foam mattress and has always been on box spring on the floor. I've been redoing my upstairs first several months and my downstairs for the last couple of years. My downstairs was out of necessity after a water heater failure flooded the entire basement and ruined everything. The upstairs has been housing things from downstairs while undergoing its own cosmetic and decor updates.
All this to say, that about a week after I received my bed frame, I had a water pipe break under my kitchen sink and almost my entire upstairs, and once again, my basement was flooded. Being that my bed was on the floor, I'm now in search of a new one while the cleanup, restoration, and repairs are being done.
So, I have opened the box, looked at the bed frame, and it looks absolutely beautiful, and I can't wait to get a new bed to put it on.
I wish I could give a more in-depth review, but given the circumstances, I cannot give a more honest one than this. I will update this review when I get a new bed and everything is repaired.

Assembly of this bed frame was fairly easy. Each part was clearly marked with a part number and the fasteners were well organized. The parts kit contained two Allen wrenches, which was a good idea since they are made of soft steel, and one of them became rounded from tightening the bolts. I particularly like that the wood slats are attached to each other by Velcro, so I did not need to figure out the spacing of the slats when they were installed - the spacing was already built in.

While it is possible to use this bed frame with just a mattress and no box spring, it would result in a very low profile bed. I have a brand new 14" mattress, but I am currently still using an old box spring with it. Within the next couple of months I will probably replace the box spring with a second mattress (probably a 7"-10" memory foam).

My king sized mattress and box spring fit perfectly on this frame. The frame is sturdy and I expect it will last for many years.

I ordered the AmazonBasics 6" Modern Metal Platform Bed with Wood Slat Support in King Size to use as a low profile bed. I like a bed to be near the ground, and it fits my king sized mattress perfectly.

This bed frame had some quality control issues when it arrived. Part of the corner of the frame was bent very badly, and I actually had to use a rubber mallet to hammer away at it and bend it back into the proper position so that I could screw the pieces together.

Once assembled, it's sturdy enough and it's got a nice low profile understated look. One thing I dislike about this style is that the surrounding frame does have a bar all the way around the bottom of the base, instead of just legs. Although this adds stability, it makes it really difficult to vacuum under there or store anything beneath the bed. Overall, I'd say that this bed frame is just... so so. If you're looking for a budget frame, it's ok.

I didnt get pics of the pieces disassembled but I did get the pics of the completed work once done. I will say I do like how well packaged everything was from how the screws were packaged separately, the pieces were all labeled, the directions were easy to follow along and assembling this by myself was not a nightmare was hot but not a fail. I think this took me about 20 mins to complete and I did have my husband put the bed back to together but I completed the frame in no time and with no help. Following the instructions was easy to do and with the pieces being labled it helped make the process quick. Everything you need to put this together being included also helped as well. Overall this def was what I was hoping for I got this for my daughters room and thou I could have thrown the boxspring away I kept it since she has a very basic mattress it gave her bed height and she loves it.

I was in need of just a basic platform bed frame for our guest room that I already had a mattress for. It didn’t need to be anything fancy, I just needed something functional and preferably something that still had an open bottom for extra storage. I came across this Amazonbasics 10” needn’t metal platform bed with wood slat support and figured it looked perfect for my needs.

Setup was pretty simple, it took my about 30 minutes to to put together. All the holes lined and and everything which was great since we have had issues with that in the past. It seams very sturdy as well. The wooden supports actually make it so the mattress doesn’t budge, nor Does it squeak either. Overall I’m happy with this frame! No it’s nothing fancy, but it gets the job done and it’s sturdy enough that I’m not nervous to lay on it.
