Oh my god the perfume. When I bought these I didn't begin to imagine that these things would UTTERLY REEK of sick smelling perfume. After putting two bags into trash cans in my kitchen (hidden behind cupboard doors no less) the entire house smells of sickly sweet febreeze. It's practically comic how over-the-top the chemical treatment is here. Yuck. I seriously have come back to amazon today to buy new trash bags into which to throw these awful, awful trash bags.
Cripes, just smelling my hands 20 minutes after putting the bags in, and the smell is so powerful. Perhaps this is a manufacturing error...???!!!?! YUCK!

This bag always held up for me. Lasted me two months. I decided to go with the fragrance kind. Same bag everything just febreze fragrance and it's NOT at all overwhelming like others are saying. I read the reviews before I bought it and I'm like uh that's not a bad thing to have your trash not smelling like trash DUH, anyhow it's not even strong like they claim. I'm actually disappointed that it isn't a strong headache smell like people claim lol. It doesn't mask the whole smell of the trash can because afterall it's trash but it sure does do more than a regular unscented bag. I'd say by 75%. Good enough for me!

Disliked the fact that the bags were splitting at the seams & I had trash everywhere. It was just not one or two bags, nor from just one roll, but the majority of the bags and from both rolls....
Unable to return to Amazon because I surpassed my “window” on returns. Now I have a box full of useless trash bags.....

I had purchased these because I needed some garbage bags and obviously Amazon had a better deal than the local store. What I didn't realize was that these bags were scented. So when I found out I thought "oh, cool, it won't smell like garbage."
MAN WAS I WRONG. They smell WORSE! I take one out of the box, get a whiff, and I feel disgusted. And that's before I put any garbage inside the bag. Once stuff goes in, the mixing of the smells amplifies the bad smell significantly. I can't even leave bags of garbage out in the hallway (apartment building) without the whole hall smelling like this awful "Fresh Clean" smell. I will never actively or accidentally purchase scented garbage bags again. And of course, Amazon gave me such a great deal so now i have 110 bags to get through before I can get non-scented!!

Minus the smell, the bags are decent quality, but i have had some come out of the box with a defective drawstring.

Note: I am not super sensitive to smells! Though these trash bags are sturdy, the Febreze smell is overpowering. I just moved the garbage can with the bag out to the front porch to air out, and took an aspirin as the smell has given me a raging headache. I don't want to air out the other 109 left in the box and I regret the purchase.

Fists great in my 13 gallon flat back, oval front trash can. First bags I purchased in a year that easily fit without stretching and finagling to fit on the canister. The scent is light and definitely helps trap in smells. Very sturdy if you do not over fill or make too heavy. I typically use two bags a week as we have two trash pick ups per week. So I cannot attest yet to whether the scent/odor protection lasts more than five days. We also keep our lid closed (as we have dogs and cats) so the scent stays trapped inside the canister. I will definitely continue to purchase so long as it stays a Prime item for a low price. Th amount f bags should last me at least two months.

I’ve been using these bags for as long as I can remember, they’re my favorite . I found this deal on amazon and immediately ordered because it’s way cheaper than what I pay in the grocery store. Then after ordering I started reading the reviews about them tearing easily and splitting at the seams and smelling bad.... I got extremely nervous that I just ordered a huge box of knock off glad garbage bags because i know for sure they’re good bags and do none of those things people said, so if they really do, then maybe knock off or something ? ANYWAY, they came today and I took a few out and stretched the crap out of them and pulled at the seams, inspected the box and everything , they’re definitely the real bags , which are GREAT kitchen garbage bags and have tried all of them and these are the best. And I think they smell great. I don’t smell them around my house, only when opening the garbage which is exactly what I want instead of garbage smell. And this big giant box is going to last me almost a year for a great price
