I've been looking for some time for quality, waterproof patio chair covers that will last for seasons to come. I've found them in these Vailge patio chair covers!!! Here in the Northwest we've been dealing with 20 and 30 degree weather for 2 months. Snow, freezing rain, ice, wind, bright sun breaks .... my chairs, and their chair cushions would have surely been ruined by now! But, these chair covers have performed exceptionally well!! Well made, durable (and yes, as advertised - waterproof), fabric, great fit and they look good!! Simple enough - with just a good shake, the snow and/or ice just fall right off. I would recommend these to anyone looking for waterproof patio chair covers. You will not be disappointed! Thank you, Vailge!
Fits my large(deep) patio chairs. I was hesitant because the covers I bought from Target didn't fit my large chairs from Macy's. The length is perfect! I usually take off my cushions if I'm not on the deck but the cover is big enough to keep them on as well. I'm now ready for winter in Illinois!
I waited until we had weather to prove this review. In the last few weeks we've had storms, heavy rain, and winds gusts to 30mph. My chairs are on a 14' x 15' covered deck. My chairs with cushions on them measure 33h x 33d x 29w. These covers are a heavy material with lighter material at the bottom and an air vent in the front. Water beads up on them. They don't drag on the ground so water runs off nicely. They have a leg clip to attach them to a front leg and a drawstring to tighten the fit. I tied the drawstring on the opposite back leg which may not be necessary, but I do wish there was another clip. They haven't blown off. I had a hard time finding a cover to fit my chairs. These are near perfect. I bought another set once I got the first set and tried them out. We have oak tree pollen falling now and they protect the white cushions from turning all green. They fold up fairly easily when removing them. Although these are heavier material, so they don't fold up real small. Great purchase! I hope they perform well next winter!
I will give high rating because the covers are VERY durable and easy to use. However material captures mold easily. I have mine under a covered porch, it is exposed to some sun and from time to time the elements of rain will get on the cover. The chair and cushions stay COMPLETELY dry, however after only a few months of use, there is mold built up on the cover. I tried a gentle cleaner without any luck of it going away. According to the tag that states how to care for it. I should not use bleach, so I didn't. Thus I have a brand new cover that is spotted with black mold. Makes me sad.
High quality material. Not for a single size. Has a good bit of room to play with if your chair requires that. Definitely buying more.
We really like our new Vailge lounge deep seat outdoor chair covers. There's a handle on the back of the cover to help lift it off and an air vent pocket to prevent mold from developing during high humidity periods of time and there's also a pull cord at the bottom to tighten if needed due to a hard rain or during a long rainy period of time. We live in a semi sub-tropical climate so we get a lot of humidity and rain...and the occasional hurricane! The material is heavy enough but not so heavy it becomes cumbersome to put on and take off the covers. It recently rained and the chairs repelled the water great....and the covers dried really fast! Our deck is gray and the covers are also gray so that's a plus too. Our last chair covers had straps at the bottom, but the material they were made with literally shredded and disintegrated in a year and the rest of the covers only lasted a year after that AND they were one-third more expensive. I really think these are far superior!
The covers look nice on my patio when the furniture is not in use. They are a bit oversized which is nice as it easily allows for easy covering and removal. The one corner buckle will come in handy when it’s super windy and the draw string around the bottom is easy to use.
Regarding rain, we’ve had LOTS of rain the past few days (a few inches). Last evening, I decided to sit outside for a bit and to my amazement, the furniture was totally dry! Even the couch which sits under the roof with direct runoff (no gutter). I am extremely pleased with these covers.
Hopefully I’ll have the same opinion after a few years of usage after being continuously exposed to all of the weather conditions.
I received a message from the manufacturer stating the covers come with a lifetime warranty. Hopefully this is true, should the need ever arise.
We own a set of outdoor furniture from Sam's Club that our cats enjoy sitting on and covering with hair. We also get a nice dusting of yellow pollen for a few weeks every year. Cleaning the cushions every year of cat hair and pollen has become an annoying chore. Finding covers to avoid this was actually more of a challenge than anticipated. We searched far and wide for a durable cover in our size without spending nearly $100 per unit. These seemed promising and priced more to what we expected to spend so we decided to give them a shot. Amazon Prime/2-day shipping sealed the deal.
Upon receipt of these we were pleasantly surprised at the thickness and quality of these covers. The fit was pretty much perfect for our love seat and 2 chairs. The color and pattern is pleasant and blends in surroundings well. The vents/handles are nicely done. The cinching strings work nicely as well and seem durable versus other straps I have had on other covers before.
Hopefully I never need to replace them, but if i needed covers for other pieces I would definitely come looking for these first!
