This cover was the perfect size for my patio table and chairs. Even though I have a square table, with the way my chairs are built, a round cover was required to cover both table and chairs. I love that this cover comes with 4 straps to hold the cover securely to each chair as well as 2 bungee straps to pull the cover tightly at the bottom hem. The cover has withstood 30mph winds just fine. I cannot say whether it will hold up in higher winds just yet. The only complaint I have thus far is the cover is not waterproof, but water resistant. Rain tends to pool at the top hemline and soak through the cover onto my cushions. My hopes was to find a waterproof cover so that I could keep my cushions on my chairs at all times and protect them from the elements, rather than have to store the cushions and bring them out each time we wanted to sit outside at the patio table.
This was a second attempt to cover a patio table and chairs. The first wasn't a large enough diameter to cover the chairs, as they don't fit neatly under the table. The chair backs are 2 inches higher than the table top. When I initially covered the table, water puddled on the table top, but the cover did not leak. Now i put an overturned kiddie pool on the table and drape the cover over it, and things are good.
The buckle ties and drawstring have held the cover on through storms.
I actually bought this as a cover for my papasan chair cushion! I've had a World Market golden yellow papasan chair in my apartment for a while but after some serious redecorating, a papasan doesn't really go with my intended decor. However, I really like it anyway so I decided to put it on my patio but I was nervous about putting a fabric item outside and "real" papasan cushion covers are very expensive so I thought I'd try this! I'm in SoCal and my patio is covered so I'm not sure I could speak to water resistance but I was more concerned with sun bleaching and dust.
I was able to easily put my cushion in the center and then just pleat the excess fabric around the underside of the cushion. Thankfully I had some random bed sheet suspenders laying around, I used two of those just to hold the cover in place. It completely encloses the cushion so I don't have to worry about the underside getting dusty!
So if you have a 54" papasan cushion that you'd like to put outside, this is a great alternative to expensive covers that protects the cushion all the way around!
I just put this on my wrought iron table and chairs. I put an upside down pot on it before covering for easier water drainage.
It is water resistant and seems durable. Also, easier to put on with two people.
Has snaps to secure to chair legs to hold secure on four sides. An elastic drawstring on two sides allows tightness in case of wind.
I'm happy with it.
Great item for my glass/stone top outdoor table. Besides the durable material, I like the fact that it can be securely fasted to the legs of the table preventing it from bubbling up or being lifted from the wind. So far, it has weathered thru heavy rain and extremely windy days. The next review will come during the winter and snowy days ahead.
I have this cover on a table and four wrought iron chairs on the porch. The wind here has been severe and it has held up very well. The tie downs are great and the ventilation sections keep it secure. The material is good quality and I expect to get several seasons of use in a very harsh seaside environment. Only wish I bought it sooner!
Very durable material. We have a large hexagon table and this cover is fairly easy to put on. I understood this product to be waterproof. We had water under the cover after it rained. Addendum- after reading the directions, we noted you’re to place a dome of plastic in the center under the cover to let the water drip off. This worked!
I like this cover, it fit well and looks good. It covers the table and chairs. I use bungie cords to keep the wind from blowing it away. I tried to by another one but they were unavailable. Only time will tell about the durability. So far, so good.
This patio table deck cover is very solid and substantial . It seems to be a great fall /winter weather protection
