A picture is worth a thousand words !

There is an issue that needs to be noted, but doesn’t take away from the overall quality of the product, but should be listened too by the manufacturer. The screws you use to assemble the bed are made of recycled metal, and with the burrs in the threading, it did strip the screws itself when trying to assemble. The burrs are too be expected, but if we didn’t have an electric screw driver I would have started crying, but the screws did strip as a result. The good news is the kit comes with a couple extra screws, but very limited. When the time comes and we have to move, I worry about disassembly and reassembly. The plastic bits used to secure the bars in the frame that supports the mattress have the potential to break easily. 1 of ours did, and there was only 1 backup - this kit should have 5 as backup as a sensible measure, as well as 5 extra screws.

In the beginning when you assemble, check the lining of the holes, and be mindful of the center bottom bar! It’s not just an issue of aligning the pieces left or right, but top or bottom as well, which gives no clear indication or warning on the instructions as well.

Overall it really is an excellent bed and worth the time and money! I was on amazon a good 45 minutes before finding this, and I genuinely do believe I made the perfect choice, especially since the weight limits are perfect. It’s about 5ft 2 in height, and I wouldn’t surpass a 6 inch mattress for the top, as the railing that prevents kiddos from rolling out becomes a safety issue.

Please note however the bed, because it’s made of steel, is 110 lbs, and the shipping thats free is fedex, And we have serious problems with them in this area. They are lazy and the package is heavy! If you are the only adult attempting to assemble, this will take you a good 4 hours, so be prepared. Not practical and super difficult to build if you don’t have the extra hands. Seriously, ask someone for help and throw in a pizza.

I genuinely DO recommend the bed, but I also recommend the screws were better quality and a few extra bits to make sure you don’t end up in a bad position.
We are very happy with our purchase. The bunk bed is very sturdy and our kids love it. Sometimes we all lay down in the bottom bed and it does not wobble. My husband and I put it together, there are lots of parts and steps but they are easy. We always manage to mess up when assembling a product, but this was pretty straight through. Just make sure to pay attention to the directions, since everything has a place. Otherwise, you'll find yourself taking things apart all the time to re-arrange. We just had to do that once, lol. Will definitely recommend.
I had to force the top part on another part. Took me all night to put this bed together. Other then that I like the bed.
weight capacity doesn't hold 400 lbs. Metal bent at 295 lbs. My sons weight. Poor craftsmanship.
Fairly easy to set up but it doesn’t feel sturdy. Very squeaky and it feels like you could snap some of the crossbars if you pulled hard enough. The kids love it and it looks nice. Just probably will not last long.
A pretty good little bed. Pay attention on the assembly, especially at the beginning, as some of the drawings for the pipes do not show all of the holes. If you don't pay attention, you'll be doing some disassembly to get it right.
I love it. Only downfall is that the ladders are a little difficult for elementary-aged kids. My 13 year old loves having space for his little brothers and cousins now.
