I did a ton of research before purchasing my light gray King bed frame from Flash. We had just purchased a new mattress that had specific requirements for the frame for Warranty purposes. This brand and frame was the only one I found in my price range that met them all. It has a Steel Frame and the slats are less than 3in apart. Closer to 2.5in I think. It also has a middle support bar. Instead of having a hollow headboard like most of the others to store parts in, it is stuffed solid. The headboard was well stitched and the tufts were all perfect. It was sent very well packaged, and all the pieces were there and well soldered. I was VERY pleased!! I put the frame together myself in about an hour. We have a 14.5in mattress on here, and as you can see we have plenty of headboard space for our pillows. This was very hard to find! It was also far enough off of the floor to actually store things underneath, and not feel like we were sleeping on the ground like with most platform beds. The mattress sits recessed down on the slats about an inch so you don't have to worry about it sliding around. The frame is very solid with no creaks. My mattress weighs about 130lbs, and my husband and I together another 380. Using smaller tightly fitting slats make it stronger and less likely to bow over time. Each slat has a rubber stopper to hold it in place on both ends. The King size arrives in one huge 148lb box, so make sure you have help to haul it inside! You should feel very confident about this purchase, and for the price its amazing!!! So glad we bought it, and would definitely do it again.

Oh my God this bed is amazingly beautiful and really well made, I’m still waiting for the full mattress, but I wanted to review this product ASAP! It is exactly like the Picture and it is priced just right too, it took my husband like 30 minutes to put it together, I took a risk to buy it with no reviews but now I am really happy and amazed with this product. It arrived 4 days after I purchased it!

I really like the look of this bed! It was easy to assemble; it took my husband and I less than an hour. One thing....I opened the box and thought the hardware was missing. There 11 bolts washers and my husband said “they only send you what you need.” So we started assembling and he asked if I had the rest of the hardware. Ummm, no. Turns out the rest of the hardware is already screwed into the bed. You just loosen the nuts a little to attach the pieces and tighten again. Pretty clever! We haven’t slept in it yet as the mattress hasn’t arrived (I threw an old full mattress on it to see how it looked all set up.) I’ll update my review when I’ve had a few nights sleep in it. There’s plenty of clearance for under the bed totes, which was hard to find with this style bed. The headboard is tall enough that you can still see it once all the pillows are on it too. BTW if you’re into the pillows but want to see the headboard, make sure you get one that’s tall enough, like this one. I’m certainly glad I bought it when I did too! They sold out quickly after I bought mine. If you see the size and color you want, buy it! I’m really happy so far!

This bed was heavy! Had to take it out of the box and carry it upstairs piece by piece. But it is super sturdy- came with lots of slats for extra support. My only complaint is that it claims to be a panel bed that uses a box spring, but it is actually a platform bed. Using the box springs put the mattress at a ridiculous height. So other than the aggravation of having to get rid of my box springs, I really do love this bed. It is a great neutral beige and the fabric looks expensive. I would recommend!

Received this bed in one box. Its a bit heavy. Lay it flat and open it up. You will not need the directions. It includes the only tool you will need, a allen key and there is only one size screw and they all are there. Lay it all out and start assembling. VERY sturdy. Wood construction with steel center support and brackets.
The wood slat platform is 13 inches above the floor and the mattress sits about one inch into the frame preventing the mattress from sliding around. Good stuff. Update: it's been two months and the bed is still great. I started with an air mattress while I waited on my memory foam matress and I finally got that about 6 weeks ago. It is awesome on this frame. No noise, very sturdy and my bed gets worked out about two or three times a week ;) and it holds together no issues. I love it. FYI: it CLEARLY has gold studs in the pics. If you think k it has chrome studs your monitor is off or you are just using your phone to look at it they are gold in color. Not chrome. A couple of 1 star reviews mention this as if it's the manufacturers fault. Anyway, you could do WAY worse. This is a quality bed that is entirely portable.

YEAR UPDATE******Almost a year later, and I’m still happy and impressed by the sturdiness of this bed. Zero complaints. Still in love.

I’m absolutely IN LOVE with this bed. The box arrived in perfect shape, and did not take any beatings during shipping. I love the simpleness and ease of assembling it. It took all of 45 minutes. But, what I’m most impressed with is how sturdy it is. Extremely sturdy!!!!!! This bed is very well made at it’s reasonable price. Stop shopping. Get this. You won’t regret it. I spent months reading reviews (I’m overly cautious) on other beds and brands, and finally had a good feeling on this one. Turns out I wasn’t wrong. I went with King in black and love the color and fabric. The headboard is extremely high whereas your pillows will not cover it up! I have a 12 inch memory foam and it goes perfect! This bed is beautiful, comfortable and fit for a King and Queen. Sooo happy with this purchase!!!!!!
