It is very sturdy. I used a box spring and 8 in mattress which made the bed pretty high like I like it. I love all the extra space underneath so I can store things

This bed is gorgeous and sturdy. It was pretty easy to put together but the instructions are all pictures so are a little hard to follow sometimes. However, all the pieces are well labeled making it a lot easier. The bed fit my mattress perfectly. It provides a really firm foundation with just a bit of bounce, making it really comfortable.

My son that 16 years old put it together with little to no help. The first part putting head board and foot board you may need a little help but after that he did the rest. It’s beautiful
