I rated the install just 4 stars, not because it was all that difficult for me, but because you need to have some knowledge of how to attach screws securely to drywall and correctly connect wires using wire nuts. The fixture took about 15 minutes to install for an experienced home diy-er. The parts provided were good, and the instructions clear. If your ceiling doesn't have a junction box, you have to be able to either install one, or safely improvise. The light is very bright, the color rendering is acceptable, and my wife likes how it looks. The packaging could have been more robust — one of the metal end caps was very slightly bent in transit, but a little gentle encouragement got it back in shape. I suspect I would have been the only one to detect the slight misalignment with the cover if I had not corrected it.

Lightweight and easy to install, all hardware included to mount the light. It was lighter than I expected but it looks to be sturdy and good quality. The wire for hookup is long enough to reach where you need. Light is as bright as the light I replaced that had 4 florescent bulbs. Price is good and out looks good in the laundry room.

Replaced a 2 tube fluorescent fixture in the laundry room. This fixture looks good and puts out plenty of light. The fixture is light weight. It was relatively easy to mount. If the center wiring hole was a bit larger, I could have wired it after mounting. Because of the small hole, I completed the wiring ahead of mounting, resulting in a bit of a balancing act to get the mounting screws started.

Overall the light is decent quality for the price. Installed in a hall at a customers house and it served the purpose. The only issue was the silver trim on the ends of light was poorly painted. Instead of a solid color it was mismatched, rough and dull. Obviously it was not supposed to be like that, but the customer was fine with it anyway.

This was super easy to install. The only thing I wasn’t happy about was the color. The pictures (to me anyways) made it look like a brushed nickel. It’s not that nice. It’s a faded silver color. Wish it was brushed nickel. Oh well. It gives great light though!

Looks great, VERY bright. Mine does not flicker that some seem to have a problem with. Replaced 15yr old florescent double light and it's 4 times brighter.
