A beautiful bed frame. It’s. Very study and exactly what I was looking for because I don’t have a box spring. It took around an hour or so to put together but it was worth it! The wood on the headboard and footboard has texture and doesn’t feel like particle board with laminate wood glued onto it. And the metal feels very sturdy. Only reason I took a star off is because the bedframe is actually a bit wider than my mattress so you can see a bit of underneath the bedframe. Overall it’s a great buy

No you do not need a box spring for this but you could use one if you would like I’m using a box spring with my due to the height I wanted I absolutely love this bed frame for the amount of money I spent it will do !

I was worried about the quality since it was so cheap but it turned out to be really good. Be patient and follow the instructions carefully and don't tighten the screws until you're all done, (that way if you accidentally put one in the wrong place, you can remove it easily).

I looked at A LOT of these more affordable bed options on places like Wayfair before deciding on this one. Reviews on others, particularly those with wooden slats, made many of them out to be wobbly and prone to breakage. Then I stumbled on this one and the reviews were more favorable. And they were right—this bed feels sturdy, it doesn't move or shake when I move around at night (and I'm not a small person), and the metal rod-style slats don't seem like they'll ever break. It took me a little finagling to put together as a single person, but I managed. Once you get the two ends on, the rest is really easy even for one person. Took me about an hour and half, but I imagine it would take two people an hour. Also, initially they said it would be delivered the last week of August/first week of September, but it arrived more than a week early! Overall, really pleased with this purchase! Great value for the low price.

This bed frame is such a pleasant surprise! I have to admit I was not expecting this quality for the price. Very well made and sturdy. It looks so great in the room and it looks very expensive. It’s a breeze to assemble and it’s boxed very well. It didn’t have a scratch on it, nice powder coat. I highly recommend this bed. We used for the guest room and it looks like a very expensive bed frame. I also bought these night tables and the bedding “Ink and Ivy” on amazon and they look perfect with it. Hope this helps!

This bed frame and base are very sturdy. I like the fact that the slats are secured to the frame keeping them from moving. Also down the center of the frame there are additional legs to support the bed. This does limit some of the storage capacity but it is worth the trade off to have the base sturdy.

The bed came early, and appeared to be packaged well. All of the peices were included, and were also packaged well and labeled. Upon putting to bed together, it became obvious that when the rails were attached to the headboard it was more narrow than the footboard which made it impossible to connect the top bar or at least three of the supporting slats in place at the top of the bed
