**Be Advised these beds ship in 2 different boxes. They may arrive on separate days.
Product is easy to assemble if you have some understanding assembling furniture (if not, ask a friend for help). Directions could have been a bit better. We left off the part labeled "U" and you'll see why once you build them. Total assembly time for me by myself was just over an hour.
Now that the assembly is completed, let's get to what you really want to know.
Are they worth the money?
YES!
You can not find bunk beds with stairs at this price point. These beds are made of real wood (pine) and are very sturdy. The stairs could use some improvement, but overall are functional. The lower bunk is at floor level which is a huge safety saver for us! We have had them up with daily use for several weeks now and are still as sturdy as they were when assembled. I'll update this review if something changes.
(I was not paid for this review and did not receive these beds free or at a discount. Just an honest man's opinion)
Assembly was fairly simple.
Did it alone in a few hrs
Sturdy and enough to hold my fat @@@ lol
190 on the top bunk with my 4 year old + 40 for my 4 year old. Felt fine!
Overall height and size is perfect
Overall we love it and so do my kids!
I purchased the Bed in October Two weeks wit the bed an the stairs broke from the wood making it look like trash I’m highly disappointed because I trusted Amazon to send me quality funiture an it’s not of quality the material isn’t work the amount of money I spent on the bed both of my kids are fairly small so weight isn’t the issue it’s crap an the biggest mistake I ever did was purchased this funiture outta money I would stick to the funiture stores from now on
The instructions are just a bunch of diagrams with really small details. So hopefully you’re a visual person. As for the bed itself, I wish the support slats were a tad sturdier. It felt okay with my weight (140lbs) on the top bunk after assembled, but if pressure is centralized into one area (I.e, child standing or jumping) the pieces of wood bow pretty easily. Going to keep an eye on that. Other than that the bed went together perfectly and it looks amazing. Oh , be careful or you’re going to end up with splinters. The wood is pretty rough on some of sections of unfinished wood.
Very nice bunk bed. Directions were easy to follow and my boys love it! My only con would be the top bunk wood that keeps your child from falling is very delciate. My son hit it with his knee so to speak and one of the boards split a bit. Other than that wonderful purchase so far!
This bunk bed is great! Easy to assemble, fairly sturdy, and overall great value. The frame is solid wood, and the stairs/shelves are a particle board with a thick veneer. I expect this bed will last years if taken care of. I highly recommend this product! The seller was also cognizant of handling during shipping and put it in an appropriate box leaving the product in perfect shape!
Assembly was a bit crazy. My husbands a woodworker and it still took us 2 hours. That being said, it’s incredibly sturdy. My boys absolutely love it and I’m not freaking out (as bad) about one of them falling from the top bunk. Great buy. Especially for the cost.
Awesome product. Was really easy to assemble with two people. Took a couple hours. Could do with one with some interesting moments. I like the stairs over latter or slide. Safer to get up and down in middle of night for bathroom. Put glow in the dark tape on the stairs for ease of seeing at night. Does take some space. Not as much as too beds would. The kids love them.
