Nice little play fridge. I choose this specific one because Hape is one of my favorite toy brands and due to the ice machine. My son loves to get ice out of our real ice machine so I thought this maybe a hit and it is. I can always count on a nice cold and refreshing beverage when I stop by his kitchen for a delicious plate of felt fish and wood cookies. I didn’t check the size so I was a little disappointed it wasn’t a tad bit taller but it’s not a deal breaker. I paired it with the ikea kids kitchen which is taller that the fridge.

Very cute, easy to put together, pretty sturdy. I wish the ice cubes were painted but I'll do it myself once it gets unwrapped for Christmas (was in a hurry and totally didn't think to do it beforehand). Took me maybe an hour to put together, which I think was probably slow going on my own part since I'm 9 months pregnant and got stuck on the floor lol.

I bought this for my granddaughter’s 3rd birthday. Its sturdy and attractive. I don’t buy plastic so I wish the door handles were made of a different material. And the front of the ice cube door came badly chipped. See photos, bottom right. I didn’t notice it until it was all unpacked and i had started assembling it. The outside boxes were not damaged at all. It must have preened in the factory. I’m going to have to sand it down and touch it up with paint. I’ll try to contact customer service with photos and se if they can replace just that one part.

Like all Hape products it appears to be of high quality. It was easy to put together. There are not that many pieces and the directions were clear. It is small, perfect for a toddler, although I will probably keep the wood ice cubes away from my granddaughter for awhile. The wood feels pretty porous and I think will pick up finger prints etc. I am tempted to spray some kind of varnish on it but that probably negates the whole non toxic thing I like about these toys.

By far one of my kids favorite thing is their play kitchen. This is PERFECT for storing all the pretend food so it’s not everywhere. My kids love having their own refrigerator. Hape makes extremely high quality and I would recommend this purchase. Worth every penny! The best part is the ice cube dispenser!

We got this and the matching oven for our 2 year old this last Christmas. It is so cute! I love the little ice machine. My son won’t get the ice cubes until he’s bigger because they are quite small. I wish he was more interested in it but I’m hoping as he gets bigger he will want to play with it more

My 4 and 1 year old love playing with this little fridge. It’s small, I can easily move it room to room. I don’t like huge plastic space takers. A note on putting it together, one of the pre drilled holes for the bottom door looked as though it wasn’t there (I almost returned it thinking I couldn’t attach the door) but it was covered with the layer of white paint so just had to poke through that to access the pre drilled hole.

This one is actually easy to put together. Took maybe 20 minutes. Beautiful and will last for years. If you have a little however, don’t put the “ice cubes” in just yet as they fit well in the mouth. Not really and issue since my 16 month old will play with this for many years.

Love this fridge. Bought it to go with the Ikea kitchen. Very cute. Just wished my son hadn’t drawn on the side!! I can’t wash it off!
