It is bigger than regular kitchen scale which is nice. I can put larger size bag and weight without using another tray to sit on top. The display screen is located at the scale bottom and it's retractable. I can read the weight without moving around the object on top.

This item is very awesome and useful. An essential must have when cooking and baking. Elegant design and its rechargeable. Worth the money. I would endorse this to my friends..
Love that the electronic portion of the scale does not take away from the surface where you weigh items. The scale is accurate and easy to clean. I do love the battery is rechargeable. The only thing this scale doesn't have is a backlight but that isn't a total negative. Really like that they offer more than a 6-month warranty. I like this scale and hope to have it a good long time
The scale came with minimal, recyclable, frustration-free packaging. It came charged and ready to use. I love that it is rechargeable, never have to worry about having batteries to put in.

It seems to be fairly accurate. I only have one other scale to compare it to, and there are slight discrepancies between the two, but not enough to make a difference in cooking, and no way for me to know which is more correct. An interesting note is that with lighter items, like an empty paper cup, this scale measures it 1g heavier than my other scale, and with heavier objects, like a full ketchup bottle, measures it 1g lighter. Not sure what the implications of this are, I just found it a little curious.

The volume measurement works *only for water* (or other liquids with the same specific density as water). This is not a fault of the scale, it’s just how density and volume work. A 1/4 cup of water measured accurately for me at 2 fl oz. A 1/4 cup of canola oil measured at 1.7 fl oz. This makes sense because oil is lighter (less dense) than water, but it is not something that is explained in the manual. To be fair, most other scales with a volume option don’t explain this either.

So long as you go into it knowing the volume measurement comes with that caveat, this is a perfectly decent kitchen scale.
This scale made me realize something...A scale can be accurate, but lack precision at the same time. I placed a cup on the scale, then slowly added water drop by drop. It registered at 3g and at 8g. I expected it to measure gram by gram, and this scale does not. I also thought the pop out display was a bit flakey. It ejects using a spring loaded mechanism, but does not full eject, you need to pull it out and it doesn't lock in that position in any way.

Otherwise, it is a nicely made unit if the precision doesn't bother you.
So far so good. Using this to weigh newborn puppies who move around a lot. This causes most other scales to fluctuate so much that it’s difficult to get a reading. But this scale stays pretty consistent. I also like that the display is retractable. It gives a larger surface space and allows you to see the measurements without having to move anything on top of the scale.
I purchased this kitchen scale because I'm finally getting into the bread making and needed a precise measuring tool for sourdough breads. I researched a lot of scales and utlimately selected the Phansra kitchen scale because of the cost, technology, and overall appearance. It was priced well in comparison to some cheaper quality kitchen scales around $10 and higher end scales in the $49+ range. The main reason why I didn't purchase a higher priced scale was because those made by for example, OXO or other brands lacked the USB charging technology. As an environmentally conscious consumer, I want a product that doesn't rely on a constant replacement of triple A batteries. Another reason why I purchased this scale was that I liked the overall appearance of it - very minimal and modern. Also, this scale is a bit larger in dimension to other scales, but it is convenient when you are using a larger bowl. Plus, Also, I like how the measurements pop out, so it is clearly visible. Overall, it's the first week of using this but I feel it's a good kitchen scale for the at home baker or cook due to it's quality, cost, and appearance.
I liked the idea of a rechargeable scale and this one seemed like a good one. So far it seems to work very well. I do wish that it retained the last unit of measurement as it’s default upon reopening as I have to reset it each time I use it but other than that the scale is well built and has a nice large surface area with out being too big.
