I purchased a sofa bed and it came with the standard mattress. That mattress was horrible - thin, springs stabbing you in the back, springs actually ripped through the fabric and we had metal pieces sticking out, bar across would hurt your back. The bed aspect of my sofa bed was useless. I didn't even know that updated options like a foam mattress were available. I love that the mattress comes rolled up and vacuum sealed in a box. It expanded quickly and is really soft. It fits the sofa bed frame perfectly, it stays in place, it folds up nicely when you fold the couch back into normal position. The sofa bed is so comfortable to sleep on now. You don't even feel the bar going across your back because the foam absorbs that. This was a great purchase and worth the price. I feel like we actually have another bed option that can be used when we have guests or kid sleepovers.

Received my mattress quickly and very excited. It is very comfortable, however I can not fold it to close the couch. Tried many times both sides and both up and under...no fold. Maybe someone can give me s tip on how they get it closed. Thank you.

So far, the mattress has met my expectations and more! It arrived rolled up and vacuum sealed in a box. It was easy to cut through the shrink wrap to lay it flat. As soon as I cut through the seal it began to decompress. The pictures show how it is the exact same size as the lumpy spring mattress that came with the sofa bed ("queen"), and the thickness is about the same or thicker. I have yet to sleep on it, but it feels very comfortable as I lay on it to write this review. I was expecting some odor based on other reviews, but there is none at all. The bed folds back easily without causing any problems.
I do not feel the cross bars much, and almost not at all if I place a flattened cardboard box underneath the mattress. Overall, a great purchase.

I ordered this mattress because our sofa bed had the most uncomfortable mattress on it and nobody could ever sleep over and be comfortable. This mattress arrived yesterday, beautifully packaged, easy to remove from the packing, and a blessing to sleep on, as I tried it myself last night! It did not come with any funky smell either~
This is absolutely a wonderful replacement mattress for a Queen size sofa bed!

Came well packedged and fast. After opening plastic bag matress raised to about 3 1/2 inches but went to the 4 1/2 over night, about 8 hours. Felt great on old matress and without the old matress, the only complant is, it is about 2 inches in with smaller than old matress which you can feel when closed if you sit close to the arms of the coach. Have not slept on it yet since I am still waiting on my sheets. It is as easy to close the hide a bed with new matress as the old one. Did not notice any smell like some people have said.
I finally got a chance to sleep on the matress and it felt as good as I though it would. You do need to open the sofa bed a couple of hours before you sleep on it to let it come back up to full size, since it was compressed when the sofa was closed.

Mattress arrived really quickly. It is firm, comfortable and fits our Queen Size Sofa Sleeper, it is a vast improvement on the previous mattress and at a reasonable price too!

This Memory Bed Pad is almost like a mattress. It is really comfortable and provides good padding and cushion for your bedding. I purchased for my pull out sofa around Christmas time when had guests arriving. The pull out bed mattress was so thin. This mattress padding is excellent. The only con is that I ordered a Queen size for Queen pullout sofa bed. Did not cover the entire mattress. The Queen size I ordered is more like a Full Size. Wished I had ordered a king size

We have a queen sofa bed that came with an inflatable mattress that people really liked - us too. Finally died and I couldn’t revive it. Although there weren’t a gazillion reviews of this one, the reviews that were there were good and I liked the description. Well we couldn’t be happier. Arrived in no time at all. Was compressed into a manageable box. Opened it per instructions and in ~24 hrs it had expanded to full size. Really nice looking and minimal to no odor. Most importantly we tried it ourselves and it is really comfortable. Will see how it fares over time but early impressions are A+.
