This toy kitchen set really kept my daughter busy and gave her a lot of fun.

Amazingly, the meat dishes like fish, sausage, steak and chicken can change color from their original to brown after being “cooked” on the “stove” of flashlight (the stove is not hot at all). This feature mimics the burning effect of grilled meat and fascinated my daughter. I have to pretend to eat all the dishes she cooked over and over again. After being put aside for a little while, the burning effect on the meat will disappear so that they can be cooked again. It is a genius idea that the toy can interact with the kids in an imagination game of cooking like adults. After we finish the meal, my daughter starts to wash the dishes using the “sink” of the kitchen that can hand pump real water, dry the dishes on the “dish drying rack” and organize her utensils. She enjoyed this game very much. This toy set significantly reduced her screen time on TV and Pad.

I definitely give 5 stars and more if I could.

I’m pleased about this purchase. The size of every item is perfect for my little one’s tiny fingers. Delivery came quick, package came intact and it was very easy and quick to install. It didn’t smell like plastic and is very safe for my baby. Each small item is smooth and no rough edges. My girl was so excited to play with it, she can’t stop and sat for hours with her new toy. This is a good way for her to learn and discover about kitchen safely and play pretend. I also love the portable design so she can carry it around and easily store after.

Even though I am an adult But I fell in love with this product! Everything came in a nice package, it may feel plasticky but the quality is better than many toys. I like th bright color and the realistic look of each piece. Love the chicken turns red when cooked feature. Definitely can keep the little ones entertained for a while!

love this cute little picnic kitchen. bought it to take on little excursions so my daughter has something fun and interactive (yet self contained) to play with. it’s a bit loud (would be great if it could be turned down), also would be great for the sound to be related to the cooking functions (it’s mostly songs). but i’ve simple not added the batteries and she plays with it just the same. over all, VERY well made. and i love the little food items and plates. it’s perfect to take camping.

 UPDATED: my son stopped playing the toy for a while and today we put in fully charged batteries and the fish and chicken finally can be “cooked”. Attached a video for reviewers if you are thinking about buying this. Fun toy!!

My son wants a kitchen set to play with and we don’t have a lot of space for a full size kitchen play set. Did some research and decided to get this one. The kitchen and picnic basket actually is nice combo as you can put everything back into the basket and store it away. Very convenient.

BUT... the toy is advertised that food will change color. I am not quite sure if I operated it the wrong way or It’s defective. The “chicken” and “steak” didn’t change color after the “grill”. I was a little excited to see that feature, but I guess my 3 year old can’t really tell that feature is missing in his new toy.

My son has been playing with this picnic station for almost 1 month and it has been his favorite toy for the last few week! Just imagine when you need to work at home and your 2yr old can play by himself for half an hour, life saver! The assemble is very easy and it’s also a good activity for the kid to stick the stickers on the parts. My son was totally blown away by the color changing food toys the first time he saw it. He likes to “cook” broccoli soup and bring it to me. Great toy for a toddler!

Cute picnic/kitchen toy. My daughter absolutely loved that the food actually looks like it was cooked. The little sink can spray out water also Which makes it fun for the little ones to “wash” the food and dishes. It plays songs and has lights. Once they are done playing you can put all the pieces inside the bucket and carry it around. It’s also very sturdy which is nice for the little hands that can be tough with toys.

Super cute toy for toddlers. My son loves it however the day after we got it, the stove just stopped working. The other buttons work but not the stove. Also, the grill part for the stove does not stay attached and keeps falling off which is frustrating. I’m not sure why the other buttons only play super annoying music..could have been used for some other “kitchen features”. Otherwise, for the price it kept my 3 year old occupied.

UPDATE: the buttons started to work again. My son still loves it. Def worth the price for a fun toy
