Very Spacious ; love that both the microwave and stove make sounds, only wish that the sink made sounds also

Based on the good reviews of the old uptown kitchen, and the new sound and light features, we purchased the new elite kitchen. But I am kind of disappointed. There are a couple of things really need some improvements:
1. The doors are not designed to be well fitted. We could not close the doors without adjustment of the position. I do not think my 2-year-old son will ever be able to close the doors by himself. This is so disappointing as opening and closing different doors and storing stuff is one of his favourite things to do these days.
2. All of the sounds are so loud. The microwave and the stoves are so loud that my son initially was frightened by them.
3. The quality of the sink and the faucet is just very bad. They are cheaply made and nowhere close to the original version.
4. Some of the screws for the handles are missing. There are 5 handles with each requires 2 screws but we only got 7!

Based on those, I think I hope I could return this kitchen if I can quickly disassemble it and pack it back...
Absolutely adorable! Love the new features!
I love this kitchen. I think this one is a tad bit smaller than the uptown kitchen, but not too much, like by 4 inches. I chose this one over the uptown one with 2,000+ reviews mostly for the sounds and light. This one has microwave that opens like a real microwave (it pops open when you push a button), and sounds like a real microwave (realistic zzzzz sound and beeps after). This also has burners lighting up with sounds, and has ice compartment with three ice cubes. Ice cubes don't come out well, you often have to pull it out manually but my daughter seems to like that too.

Assembly wasn't that bad, it took me about 2.5 hours in total. But not that bad, because I never assembled one piece of furniture in my life, so I would think most people will be able to do this under 2 hours.

Overall, I am one satisfied customer :)
We got this for my daughter for her second birthday. She is coming on her third in a couple of months and she still uses it all the time.

The only wear and tear is we've had is that the knobs for the stove appear to get stuck in the clicking sound and it will go on for a long time uh unless you find out which knob it was and turn it back. This is probably due to my kid spinning them like there's no tomorrow for many months. Other than that, the kitchen still is like new.

That said, we do not have a terribly destructive child. We are pretty strict with her so she learns to be nice to her toys. I cannot attest to how long this would last a kid who tries to climb it or pulls on the doors or throws things at it.

My kid is also huge for her age, probably a year ahead in growth. It makes it easier for her to play with everything. She loves to organize old plastic juice or milk bottles filled with rice or beans in all the cupboards. This has been a great buy for us.

It took a couple of hours for my husband to put it together and he is a read directions and do it right kind of guy. I took her out for well over an hour and it wasn't quite finished when we got back. This may be easier with two people.

It is pretty sturdy sitting there but I don't know how well it will survive our next move. It is not the kind of thing you disassemble once it's put together.
I searched for months for the right play kitchen for my 2 year old and 8 month old. I decided on this one because I knew my son would love the lights and sounds. He loves the microwave lights and sounds the most. He puts a cup of “foffee” in, pushes the on button, and waits for the light to go off. He also loves the ice machine. Unfortunately, it is incredibly difficult to push the lever in such a way that the ice dispenses. My son always ends up reaching in and pulling it out of the door. There is plenty of room for him to grow with the kitchen, as it is pretty tall. I wish it had counter space. There is no where for him to set food and dishes. It took my husband 4+ hours to assemble. He used a drill and the 3D instructions online. As other reviewers stated, the doors are hard to open and close. Ultimately, I would still choose this kitchen over other options. It is aesthetically appealing for me and my son loves the lights and sounds. We are also a military family and I think this will hold up well with all of our moves. The only other kitchens with comparable lights and sounds I found were the plastic ones or the corner kitchen from kidkraft. I didn’t want such a large piece in our playroom so I didn’t get the corner kitchen. My son also likes realistic toys. For example, he doesn’t like plastic cars, he only like realistic metal. I knew he wouldn’t like a plastic kitchen because they don’t look real. With this kitchen, he recognizes what everything is (except the dishwasher) and loves it. There is definitely room for improvement on Kidkraft’s part. The doors should close more seamlessly and the ice machine should be easier to operate.
It’s cute but so small. I thought it was a little bigger than it was. It’s like a mini play kitchen. At least compared to the previous kid kraft kitchen we had. But it fit perfect in a small area I had. It’s a cute kitchen. The microwave makes noises, the stove burners light up, and it has an ice cube dispenser in the door. Although the ice cube dispenser is cheap and doesn’t work the best. I (mom) put this kitchen together in about an hour n half. It really wasn’t that bad. Directions were pretty easy!
Brilliant the little ones love playing with this kitchen with its ice dropper and microwave.
It looks amazing and the sounds are great... My little one has not stopped playing with it
Great kitchen. Good height for tall kids as I was trying to find one tall enough for my 5 year old. Microwave, oven sounds are great. Ice cubes are a favourite with my kids.

Assembly wasn't too bad, some pieces did not line up but if you're handy it'll work fine. Very sturdy.

Amazing! My daughter loves it! It was super easy to put together and it looked great! I’m simply thrilled and would highly recommend it.
