100% no need for tools, comes in two sections (the bottom and back) that mount together through a locking slider position. I love that this is also far more cheaper and saved me roughly $150% for something that I can assemble myself. This chair is very comfy and provides good back and posterior support. Almost feels like real leather and it is easy to clean.

My complaints are that if you are a tall person, your legs and feet may hang off the foot rest. The fabric stuffing in cushions do tend to come out if they are not completely zipped or sealed. However it is an easy fix with no need for sewing kits.

Overall I love this chair and this beats those high end Lazy Boy chairs. My family literally fights over this chair!

Ok. So I live in Charlotte. Ashley Furniture is in Charlotte, but this sofa was shipped from Charlotte to Califronia and back. In the process it got trashed. Ok so lets ignore the shipping for a minute. The sofa is itself underwhelming. The material is cheap (the material was scrapped up in a few places and doesnt look like it will last for too long. The motor sounds way underpowered. Sounds like its run by the motor from a coffee frother. BTW this was one part of a two part order (Sofa and Loveseat) the loveseat was destroyed in shipping, complete junk. Now I get to waste another day waiting to return this junk and another day to get something else that hopefully wont be junk. Ugh.

This is a tv couch for my husbands man cave. Both ends recline and he thinks are very comfortable. We had gone to a furniture store where he picked this exact model out and this was several hundred dollars less. With Prime my shipping was free and for 20.00 I got it placed in room of choice. Definitely a good buy and choice.

Reading the dimensions on the description you'd think this recliner gives you that "sink in" feeling that you'd want for relaxing (39"w 41"d 41"h). It doesn't. At least it doesn't if you're taller than 5'5"! Forget the fact that your legs hang over the footrest when inclined. This chair seat has a actual diameter of 19" (from knee to back) and only if you're sitting upright...if you slouch your legs are automatically over extended. So 41"-19"= 22" of space for what? They could've made the chair deeper by 2-3" more and that would solve everything. I also don't like the arm rests being overly puffed up. Again, that brings no added comfort unless you are a heavier set person. The rocking aspect of the chair is nice but you don't get it if you're reclined. The power button works smooth and the faux leather fabric is soft and visually appealing in teak but I'll have to keep searching for a more suitable chair for my father!
***After a few weeks of using this chair and actually searching for a better one, I am convinced it is hard to match for the price point. I tried La-Z-Boy chairs that were 3X the cost that were comparable. For that money I'd just buy 3 of these. The faux leather is soft and doesn't get hot and the power reclining function is a necessity! Don't bother with the manual recliners...they are all hard to close!
I'd like a higher back for a better fit (for my 5'11" frame) but I will settle for an inch or two short.

OMG! I love this recliner! Took a chance based on the reviews, plus I liked the features and the way it looked. It arrived right on time and in perfect condition. We put it together easily and everything works. The power recline feature works great, not noisy at all. I can still rock when the foot rest is reclined, which is a plus for me. It might be too narrow in the seat for a man (check the measurements on the site), but it's perfect for me. I'm 5'2" and weigh 105 lbs. The arms and back are soft and comfy. The seat is a little firmer, I imagine because that's where most of the weight is, but it feels great to me. All in all, a great purchase, would buy again. Highly recommend!

Super comfy chair, lots of padding, and excellent back support. Lays back almost flat. Rocking mechanism allows a nice full rocker motion. Delivery by XPO logistics was awesome, second time they have delivered here, both times were prompt, and my furniture intact.
