I really like the kitchen although it is big ,it was unable to fit in our kidkraft dollhouse so I had to put two pieces in kitchen area and third in dining room which my daughter liked as it reminds her of her grandma house . Just the size is what you should be aware of but the kitchen is lovely ,we made so many food items by playdough that came with kitchen and my daughter loves playing with her friends.
This is so cool. I bought two of these for my granddaughters for Christmas. It mixes Play Dough and Barbie in a scenario like Chopped on tv. My grandchildren are really interested In learning about how to create things. They both love Play Dough and Barbie making french fries and cakes. They sit for hours creating. Our generation played relationships with Barbies. All about love and relationships. Today they see her as a beautiful female doing something and creating things. I think it is wonderful.
It’s perfect for my 4 & 5 year old girls. My girls love being able to play with play doh in this kitchen and make play food. The only negative thing about it is my kids cannot keep the kitchen together as one piece. This kitchen can be broken down into three parts and then connected back together. My kids can’t seam to keep the parts connected. Overall it is a fun toy for them. You can buy more play doh to use in this kitchen.
The kitchen was a present for Emma's 7th birthday and she loves it! Besides being very sturdy, it was great to see the video about the kitchen. Even showed her how to store everything and there is a lot to store. lol There is so much to do and she has spent hours playing with it. Well worth the price!
My dau will be thrilled with this on christmas morning. It comes with alot more than I thought. Really cute.
Seriously, this is the cutest doll kitchen I’ve ever seen. I got this for my girls for Christmas and they play with it with their barbies for hours and hours after school each week! It has the cutest little accessories and was super easy to assemble. I highly recommend!
My 4 year old loved this Item , once you put the batteries In , It sounds like a real stove !
Daughter saw this on an advertisement during Thanksgiving and asked for it. It was one of her favorite Christmas gifts. She has played with it multiple times and now has the other two that are shown on the back. Well worth the money.
This is an excellent Barbie Ultimate Kitchen set, which combines imaginative play with arts and crafts, as this comes with five tubs of playdough, as well as lots of moulds to create play food.
The set comes with a doll, plus lots of kitchen accessories and opportunities for Barbie to do some serious cooking. There is a fridge, vegetable mould, sandwich maker, a press to make fries, a stove top which lights up and makes cooking noises and an oven with a timer. There are also lots of little accessories – pots, pans, glasses, a ladle, spatula, tongs and more.
My daughter and niece have had endless fun with this set. They have enjoyed the opportunities to create meals and there have been an endless parade of dolls queuing up to eat them! Great fun and you can always buy new dough to extend the play and fun, if it does need replacing.
Absolutely amazing Barbie kitchen set which can either be used for a Barbie cooking show or part of a restaurant. I love all the bits and pieces and the doll was a nice touch even though she has a stiff body type. I have lots of play doh already so my doll can start cooking. More of this please Mattel. Thank you so much for the speedy delivery too. So chuffed with this set.
Great idea to mix a Barbie toy with play doh so the roleplay element has a physical creative element too as they make their own food. Extended the roleplay and creative element. 3 and 7 enjoy it.
It maybe too fiddly, frustrating for a child with hand mobility or fine motor skills difficulties as the foods are quite small to pick up etc... and the set could be knocked over.
But all in all it's a great little toy covering role play, creative play where they can take orders, make, "cook" and serve.
Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. So far she loves it! She hasn’t stopped playing with it since it was opened. She loves making food & serving it to her dolls. The sounds & lights are a nice touch too.
Really lovely toy. Lots of little pieces and some great sound effects. My girls aged 2 and 5 both love it. We didn't read the instructions but watched a video online as it was tricky at first what went where. You will need to buy batteries. Barbie is a little cheap and doesnt bend arms/legs and won't stand alone but I think that's mentioned in the description.
