I had two old food thermometer which are slow to get accurate temperature. I love baking and having a good thermometer is very important. I am glad I bought this product. It only takes seconds to get accurate temperature. In the box it also includes another battery.
First time to have a digital meat thermometer and I loving it! It reads the temperature fast and accurate. I compared the temperature to analog thermometer (see photos and video) and they have the same temperature result. I would rather use digital, no need to figure out the exact reading, it’s already on the screen.
It’s handy too, not bulky and the temperature chart guide is on the back of thermometer, easy reference, you don’t even have to read the enclosed user instructions. When you lift the probe, it automatically turns on and reads the temperature and when you put the probe back it automatically turns off.
There’s option to use centigrade(C) or Fahrenheit(F) It comes with extra battery.
The instant read thermometer is a really wonderful kitchen tool for candy making, baking, and cooking. This instant read thermometer is well made, easy to read, and accurate. I really like the little touches that set this apart from all the others on the market. There is a safety strap, so you aren’t trying to fish it out of boiling sugar. It comes with an extra battery and a disk to open the battery compartment. Everything fits nicely in the box for secure storage. It is waterproof, so I can wash it off.
It works great and really easy to operate. Just pull the little thermometer stick out and it turns on right away. Came well packaged and with an extra battery
Great product, if you like cooking,Be sure to use this thermometer. Very easy to use, ℃/℉ You can switch. The design of this lamp is particularly good. It allows me to see it in the dark. Real-time display of numbers, very convenient. I recommend it!
It look great as for the design it Come with an additional battery that I think it is really good so you don't have to worry for a long time.
I tried yesterday with fish and it works Great...if you are a first time use inside there is a chart to look for right temperaturea.
I love it
I’m satisfied with the product for the following reasons:
CONVENIENCE
As long as you pull out the metal temperature detector stick. The device turns on automatically. It turns off when you pull it back. It is very convenient.
ACCURACY
I give it a test when I cook with Sous Vide Stick, so I have a reference for the accuracy. It is accurate. I have also uploaded an image of my little test.
SIZE
It is almost the size of my Samsung TV remote control. The length of the metal temperature detector is 4.25inch/11cm.
BATTERY
It came with batteries inside the device, and an extra for replacement.
WHAT COMES WITH IT
A cooking temperature chart.
An extra battery
A “key chain”
Yes, I would recommend it to others!
I was extremely dubious about whether this was worth the price. It's an instant read thermometer. I already have an instant read thermometer. Can you really make an instant read thermometer that's worth 5 times more than a basic one?
Yes. Yes, you can.
This is a big honker of a thermometer. It's almost certainly bigger than you think it is, if you've never held on before. It fee ls like it's built like a tank. But other than that, what makes it worth the price?
1) Fast. My old thermometer takes about 5-8 seconds to settle on a read. Is 2-3 seconds really that much different? Yup, it definitely is when you're standing over a bed of hot coals or practically sticking your head into a blazing oven. This thermometer reads so fast that sometimes it doesn't even feel like 2 seconds. The first few times I used it, I actually sat there waiting for the temperature to keep changing before I realized it was done. Great!
2) Smart. When open the thermometer (by rotating the prong out), the LED comes on and orients itself. This last feature if fantastic: if you aren't paying attention and insert the prong in a way that the handle is ""upside down"" the LED display will reorient itself. I was surprised by how often I did this, and how often I *didn't* need to crane my neck to get a read.
3) Accurate. Very. 'Nuff said.
4) Feature rich. It has a hook hole in case you want to hang it. It has a magnet, in case you need to stick it someplace while you fiddle a hot pan around. It has nice, soft grip in case you're handling it with slick hands.
This is just a super easy, and extremely well-engineered design. They put a lot of thought into this thermometer, and I cannot recommend it enough as an upgrade from the $10-20 cheap designs if you do a lot of cooking.
