I am a professional chef, and I constantly need to scale things out. I have a few expensive spring scales, but although very reliable, are BIG and unwieldy. So I tend to reach for the small digital ones first. I had 2 previously - one was / is accurate but impossible to clean. The other, easy to clean but constantly reads wrong. This scale is so easy to clean, and so far pretty accurate! Love that the weight limit is over 30 lbs, and despite its compact size, still allows you to see the numbers, no problem with a fairly big weighing bowl / blender pitcher / food processor bowl or whatever sitting on it. I also appreciate the separate on/off button - that can get finicky when it is the same as the tare button. The only thing I do not care for is, my other scales have oz functions that change directly to lbs + oz once it is over 16 oz. This one is strictly lbs or oz. so I have to make a mental adjustment when scaling. Not a huge deal, I am getting used to it, but as a professional, I try to work as quickly as possible and this is giving me a little mental hiccup. Definitely worth purchasing, especially for the price!!

While this is a kitchen scale, I purchased it to use as a postal scale. After purchasing a couple other ones from Amazon that were a disappointment, I am very pleased to report that this one is excellent. The box was nondescript but upon opening it, I found a nicely packaged scale and instructions. I usually do not read the instructions but glanced at them this time. Unlike some other products, the instructions were in clear proofread English. The scale requires 2 AAA batteries that go in at the bottom. The door holding the batteries seem solid. Since I need to use this as a postal scale, it needs to be really precise. I have metal weights to check the precision of the scale. This scale is spot on! I may order another one to use in my kitchen. For such a low price and great quality, it is a bargain.

I bought this to weigh fruit and vegetables and was pleasantly surprised to how easy it was to set up, how easy it is to work, and how consistent it is in its measurements. The button/controls are very simple with their being an on off button, tare button (sets weight of scale to 0 before placing items on it), and a unit button (to switch between lb, gram, ml, ect.). One of the nice features of the scale is the auto turn off which is helpful because I often forget to turn kitchen appliances off. I highly recommend this product for anyone wanting an inexpensive, simple, and high quality food scale.

Out of the box the first thing I did was test for accuracy. You too can test. 5 quarters weigh an 1 oz.

It is small and compact that can be left out on the counter if you need it for everyday use.

If you meal prep, and need to track your proteins like I do to reach your fitness goals and accurately hit your macro nutrients this scale does the job at an affordable price.

My wife bakes from scratch. Exact measurements are a must for consistent baking. Measuring cups and spoons are inaccurate. She loves it too!

I don't normally make a mess but the stainless steel is so easy to wipe clean for the occasional drips and spills. It matches all our other stainless appliances. It looks great! Get this scale, I highly recommended it!

Wow, what a game changer! I have never had or used a food scale before but decided to get one because I have started cooking and baking a lot more since Lockdown and this makes life so much easier. I've also started using it to determine proper food portions and wow...I have been way overestimating what a portion actually is. I was very pleasantly surprised by the color as it is a soft real/aqua that coordinates perfectly with my kitchen decor. And it included the 2 batteries which is pretty unusual, especially when getting such a quality product for such a great price. Big enough to hold a large variety of objects and containers and precise enough to weigh mail pieces. TARE feature lets you *eliminate* container weight for accuracy. Highly recommend this Levin food scale!

I was positively surprised by this food scale! It was well packed and had a protective film to prevent scratching. It’s sensor is very sensitive and accurate, registering any minimum amount of weight in different units. It will be very useful when following cooking recipes. It will also be perfect to ensure the correct amount of food for my diet.

My first concern with this scale was to determine how accurate it can be at this price level. You can see in the accompanying pictures the scale shows the weight of the bag of corn chips accurately in pounds and kilograms (allowing for the weight of the bag), and to test sensitivity, I weighed a wrapped mint puff shown in the picture weighing 0.04 pounds. I'm satisfied this will work perfectly for food measurement as well as the occasional non food item.

This little scale is pretty nice. It’s a scale. Nothing to get too excited about. I use it to replace a plastic scale that I’d been using to help mix drinks, but this looks much nicer, and the numbers light up making it much easier to read. I can’t attest to accuracy as I don’t have a standard weight to use, but it is very close to my other scale, so I’m satisfied. Stainless finish is easy to clean, and the buttons work without pressing too hard. I did get this free as a tester, but I was not required to leave a review or five stars... it’s just that it does what it is supposed to do, and looks nice doing it. What else
