I read other peoples reviews some were good and some were really d but I decided to err on the positive side and think well maybe I will get a good product haha haha !!!!! This is completely unacceptable. As You can see in the pic the Box is right behind it. I literally just took it out!

I have been using this product for a while now and decided that it was time I put in my 2 cents. I remember reading quite a few reviews saying that the tray itself is not made of bamboo it only looks like it is due to the laminate. I happen to think that this is a good thing. I have had a few hot liquid spills and it was a piece of cake to clean up. I am thinking that if it were made of real bamboo, it would surely get horribly stained after a while and may even start to warp. I was also lucky that my unit didn't have any splinters. So I am very happy that I got this model since it was the most reasonably priced. With a little bit of tender loving care, I feel confident that it will last me more than enough time for the price!

When I received the product, it was sealed in plastic, yet was covered in small ants inside the plastic. I was disgusted, and quickly opened the plastic and thoroughly washed the wood in water for several minutes, and dried it off. Yet, when I went to use the product, these small ants were coming out of the corners of the product. DO NOT BUY, the wood is so low grade that ants and bugs infest the product.

These will prob last us for years. They are easy to fold. This is our 3rd set. The handles are large enough for bigger hands and higher from bottom board than others. The bottom is sturdy and fits snugly into sides. The corners are secured well. Very easy to clean.
We have had others with thin bottoms and the sides were only nailed, fell apart, and hard to nail back together. These trays are way superior.

For the price this is a great tray. Perfect for what I need while sitting in recliner. The legs slide between the arms and seat of chair, or can be used with legs folded up. I had no problem with legs staying up. I purchased this after seeing an elderly woman with limited mobility use one. The handles make it easy to carry and it is just the right size for what I use it for. I use it daily and really like it.

We use it daily to bring meals to my husband, who has limited mobility. He also puts his computer on it. He usually is sitting in a recliner and it works well. Also like the raised edges which help keep things from sliding off. Much better than the previous bean bag board with no edges!

The tray is a great value for the price. The only thing to improve would be to make the legs lock. Easier to handle when the legs don't flop all over. But for anyone with a disability should beware, this tray will bite you. I've gotten pinched black and blue 3 times. Not for use on bed, only on solid surface. So I can't use it. Looking for one with stability.

Company replaced the 2 trays I ordered that were defective. The replacement trays are of good quality and workmanship. Thanks for doing the right thing

I bought 2 of these for my husband and I. We usually eat our meals in the living room and rarely use our dining table. We really do love having trays to eat off of from the couch instead of balancing plates on our laps! I will say though that the leg joints are very loose and don't lock into a standing position. So any little jostle will send a leg folding underneath you, which isn't something you want when you have a full drink and plate of food on your lap in the tray! Because of this we usually leave the legs of the trays closed and still just eat off of our laps. If there was a way to lock the legs into the standing position that would have been great! Otherwise we love how lightweight and easy to clean and use these trays are.

The frame of the tray is bamboo, but the flat portion of the tray is not and isn’t durable. It arrived damaged (see photo). I purchased an identical tray at Canadian Tire - same thing - and when I removed the label, it tore the tray veneer, so I returned that and ordered this one which I will also return. The tray looks great, but I want a solid wood or bamboo one and this isn’t that.

I would have given this product a 5 star rating, but one of the tray legs is a bit loose and extends every time I pick the tray up.

I really like the appearance of the tray and the fact the legs tuck away out of sight. Most other similar products don’t do that. It’s very stable when the legs are out and it’s easy to clean.

I also like the rim around the entire perimeter...stops things from sliding off.

I got two for my nieces and they have used them everyday off from school they have had since Chrsitmas!!! They love them and my sister loves serving them breakfast in bed on weekends with cartoons!!!

It was lighter than I thought it would be but it works perfect for my husband. He uses it with every meal in is easy chair.
