I used to shop at IKEA for anything I need for furnitures. This is the first time purchasing a legitimate big furniture like this Bed frame. It was so easy to assemble with a accessible and well-written instruction. It only took 15 minutes for me to finish assembling.

Every component of the best frame is not only elegant but also very solid. And I think overall quality is better than IKEA. Highly recommend this product!/

I ordered this bed in November of 2017, since that time the bed has slowly become loose over time. The side rails are held in place by wood dowels not screws and one of the metal support legs has broken off. I have submitted a warranty claim on their website as well as called and can't seem to get a response. I will give it one more day then I plan to get Amazon involved. The quality of this particular bed is quite poor. My bed is on the verge of collapsing. (yes I have re-tightened the screws many times). Zinus customer support is quite poor as well.

Heavy, sturdy wood. Took a couple people to carry into my apartment but I (115lbs w. horrible upper body strength) put it together alone in about an hour! Love love how it looks. Cool grey and classic. Photo makes it seem more blue from the editing.

Edit: After a couple of months, the middle bar has broken completely and it's totally creaky and unstable. The entire bed shifts when you sit on it. Trying to get in contact with the manufacturer to get the parts fixed. Loved how it looks, but currently is not a bed frame I want to sleep in every night. Feel like it's going to fall apart at any second. From 5 stars to 3.

I've had to furnish a two bedroom apartment this past month. I've now had a lot of experience assembling furniture. This bed frame is by far the best packaged and easiest to assemble piece I have bought. The box came damaged with one six inch gash and another three inch gash but due to the strong packaging there was no damage to the product. The box unpacked easily. The directions were not only straightforward but the individual steps were labeled on the parts. Easy. All required tools nuts, screws, etc. were included and packaged in such a way that it was simple to see what part was needed at each step. Even the slats were put together in such a way that they went in properly the first time. Zinus did a great job with this product.

This headboard and frame is gorgeous. It is exactly as pictured. The frame is very sturdy, easy (relatively) to put together, and works perfectly for us. It doesn't move around or creak - completely silent. It has the perfect support for a platform frame and our memory foam/hybrid mattress fits and is supported throughout. The headboard is not very wide, so you wouldn't really place items on it, but I like the low-profile as it takes up less space than wider headboards. It arrived quickly in a VERY long and heavy box (to be expected), but still within the "prime" shipping time. I was so hesitant to purchase online without seeing it in person first, but just couldn't pay the furniture store prices when this was exactly what I was looking for. I am glad that I went for it.

The middle Metal support legs are too long, causing the bed to shift each time you sit on it. They are bending and about to break off, and have scratched my wood floor badly. The length of these middle legs pushes the middle of the bed high in the air creating an uneven sleeping surface. Also, one of the side middle support legs is too short by HALF AN INCH!

Other than the legs, which are AWFUL, the bed is attractive, reasonably quiet, and was easy to put together.

This is a great bed from an even greater company. After a year of enjoying this bed, my daughter moved to a new city. We helped her make the move and somehow the brilliant men in my family can't remember what they did with the hardware to the bed. While they are still turning the house, the car, and the garage upside down frantically looking for the missing parts, I quietly link to the company from my Amazon purchase history, easily navigate the site via a customer service chat that sends me an email so I can formally request replacement parts even though they technically don't do this kind of thing since it's not a defective part but a defective human. They encourage me to submit all of the details anyway and make the request and hope for the best and I submit it....and BAM a few days later, free of charge, the hardware lands at my doorstep. Meanwhile, Dad and the boys are still searching. #momwin. WELL DONE, Zinus. Well done.

We got this bed for our new house and were really looking forward to sleeping on it for the first time in the new place. We got the Zinus Green Tea Mattress and this bed frame and were pretty excited. That was until we tried to put it together. We got the sides of the headboard put on using the handy ratchet tool, then when we went to put on the cross board that goes under the headboard it wouldn't fit. It was about a half an inch too short to fit into the bolt anchors in the headboard. We decided to turn it up on its side to apply pressure to try to make it fit and then the entire headboard fell apart. The bolt anchors in the headboard piece completely came out and the two side pieces fell right off. You can see in the images where they just neatly pulled right out. On top of that, the box looked like it went through a wood chipper and one of the attached pieces on the side rail had been ripped completely off. Some of this I can attribute to shipping (though I have no idea how we are going to return it now) but the majority of the issues are on completely shoddy craftsmanship (Is that even still a thing?) by the manufacturer...
