Wow! I wanted to give this great product 5 stars. Well packaged inside carton that had a rough ride from somewhere.
Heavy duty metal construction, simple assembly with 3 adults (really only takes 2 at minimum), brief and easy to follow instructions with matching photos. Unfortunately at Step 7 we could not install the mattress retainer bar because there are no holes drilled through the foot of the bed! Since the head and foot are not marked, at first we thought we had the bed reversed and were looking for the holes on the wrong end but in testing the motor and wired remote we determined that the bed was assembled correctly and facing the right way. No holes drilled anywhere! Called LUCID at 888-975-8243 but they are only open 9 AM to 5 PM Central time, Monday through Friday, so will have to email for a fix. Other than that it seems to be a great product and I may upgrade to a higher end model for the other bedroom after giving this one a trial run. For now it is just an expensive flat bed frame.
UPDATED: Prompt response from LUCID the next day asking for a copy of my Amazon purchase receipt to get a new base sent out to me. I emailed my Amazon Invoice and was expecting just the 19 by 54 inch part of the base to swap out but LUCID explained that they were sending a whole new base! And I can keep the one with no holes for the retainer bar to use as a flat bed!
Box with replacement was waiting outside my front door on the night of September 28. I could barely drag it in and it sat in my bedroom hallway until my family helped me unbox and set it up on Thanksgiving. This time there are holes drilled to insert the retainer bar but no clips to fasten it underneath so we used the clips from the first bed's unused retainer bar.
The clips are not shown in the instruction manual Parts section Step 2 or mentioned in Step 7 regarding installing the retainer bar. It just says "To install the mattress retainer bar, Insert ends into holes at the foot of the bed."
I'm really impressed with the heavy duty construction of the LUCID 100 and the quality of the bed and remote functions. The leg height is perfect for using up to four 32 Quart Sterilite under bed storage containers in the areas away from the motors.
LUCID just needs to work on quality control prior to shipping out the packages to make sure the holes are drilled and all parts are included. Sally at LUCID was very prompt and responsive via email only to everything.
November 26: Sally at Lucid emailed me to let me know that the clips are no longer included. The weight of the mattress pressing against the retainer bar should hold it in place.

This Lucid adjustable base has been great!

Comfort:
I love this adjustable frame for many reasons but the main reason is the relief it gives to both my lower back and my acid reflux. By raising the legs just a little an immense amount of pressure is taken off of my lower back. I finally am getting a good nights rest without a stiff back in the morning. I also deal with acid reflux at night and being able to elevate my head has really relieved that issue a great deal for me.The adjustable frame has taken a comfortable mattress and made it that much better.

Set-up:
The frame comes in a reasonably sized box with the frame folded over itself. You simply take the frame out of the box, screw in six metal legs, attach two clearly marked cables and then flip the frame. From there, the adjustable frame just needs plugged in with a mattress on top.

Price:
One of the major selling points for me on this frame was the price point. This frame has so many of the features only found in products multiple times the price of this item.

Looks:
The frame has a clean look. After placing sheets and the mattress on top of the frame of course most of it is hidden. For me, only the legs show and they have a nice modern look that do not stand out in any way. Plus they are nice and rounded to avoid those sharp corners that we all stub our toes on.

Usability:
The remote is clearly marked with six easy to use buttons. There are different buttons that do a few different actions and combinations of actions. You simply hold the button until you are comfortable with both your legs and back. The motors are quiet and fast enough that it is not an annoyance to move up and down.

Things to Consider:
The frame is somewhat heavy, I don't consider this a con as the product is durable. You will most likely need one other person to help you set up. It took a friend and me just about fifteen minutes to have it completely set up but it would have been difficult without help. The other reminder I have is that you need a wall outlet nearby. There is plenty of cord to get to an outlet somewhat far away but ideally you would want something close to one side of the bed to make plugging in easy and more importantly safe.

All in all I can't stress enough how satisfied I am with my purchase. This frame is such a great combination of price, ease of use and comfort.
Put it together by myself in about 1 hour. 1 hour you say? Yes! It would of only took about 10 minutes by myself but there no holes for the mattress retainer bar? How could that happen? Well anyway I had to drill them myself, not a big deal, but as a consumer I should not of had to do that. Only slept on it one night and it does seem well but. Lucid should work on their quality control dept so this issue is taken care of and this doesn’t happen to other people. I paired this with the Lucid 10 inch gel memory foam mattress that I bought at the same time. I will add to this review as time goes by. Only three stars, right now, because of the missing holes.
I was looking to replace our old setup. 40 year old hand me down box springs (with actual wobbly and squeaky springs inside)and 5 inch clearance bed frame. Even with 3 inch risers I needed more storage. I was stuck between this one and a plain platform bed frame. I’m so happy I went with this one. First off- it’s huge and weighs like 120 lbs. being impatient and not wanting to wait for my husband I drug this in myself and put it together with only a bit of help from my 11 year old. The bed was made less than 45 minutes from the time UPS left my house. That includes clearing out the old frame and box springs. I managed to get all the stuff that was crammed under by old bed in about half the space. Another feature I didn’t even consider was it helps my super loud snoring husband. Just raise the head and enjoy the quiet. I prefer a minimalist looking bed. This is exactly what I was looking for. Love watching tv with my head and feet inclined. Wish I would have done this years ago. And anyone concerned about the noise, it’s almost silent. I was honestly expecting some sort of roaring noise. Like hospital beds but I guess technology and engineering have come a long way since I’ve stayed in the hospital.
Full-size bed. Well packaged but too heavy for 1 person to take delivery (127lbs). I bought this so I could lay it flat on a platform that I made myself to give me a predetermined height thus eliminating the included legs.
Altho I set it up myself it was a struggle and I wouldn't do it again much easier with two people. The hookup was simple due to the easy to read instructions.
After three weeks and a new 10-inch memory foam mattress, I am very happy with it. The remote is well thought out and hasn't missed a beat. Dollar-wise it's hard to beat its value

We like these beds as we used to have a double one we love these
