This product had no reviews so I was sooo scared to ordered but took my chance anyway.... Absolutely LOVE!!! Exactly as described. The color and texture are way prettier in person! The fiction of the sofa bed is perfect. Instructions on point. All pieces in box when arrived. Not one complaint.

The couch arrived super quickly! The packaging was sturdy and undamaged. My husband and I assembled it in about 45 minutes despite the supervision from our dogs. They love this couch too by the way. I chose velvet because the dogs like to scratch into fabric when they are getting ready to sleep. This fabric is great because they don't get their claws stuck in it. Their fur comes right off of the soft fabric with use of a lint brush.

One comment on assembly: One of the reviewers mentioned the arms were loose after she put them on. I think she may have had better luck tightening the arms with a socket wrench due to the tight spot for the top bolt. We just did it by hand but my husband has strong hands so the arms on couch are tight.

This is definitely a really excellent couch for the money. It is firm and comfy. Love it. Whole family loves it.
I ordered a mattress in a box last year and love it, so why not try a couch in a box! I read the reviews, and decided to go for it. What do I have to loose! Amazon will stand by what they sell. Well, I ordered it and they were to deliver it 5 days later. I got an update saying it would arrive a day early. Then the following day it said it was out for delivery, only 3 days later! It had NO BOX DAMAGE, but I took no chances and examined every piece as I unboxed it. It was also covered in a heavy fabric to protect it if the box did get damaged. The instruction were very simple to follow. I tackled the assembly by myself, and while a little more difficult, it went pretty smoothly. I followed one reviewers suggestion to use a deep socket with a ratchet. I also have a power driver with allen heads and that also helped. In no time it was done and looks amazing, and the feel brought me back to the 70's! It is very firm, but it is not my everyday seat. Only company or overnight visit from grandkids will probably use it. I do plan to Scotchguard on it twice a year, to keep it looking like it does now. I really hoped the dark green was going to be available, but the blue also looks amazing. It really helped me not regret my choice if it was the wrong one! I also noticed online the exact same looking couch is sold by different manufacturers. Because of the reviews about DHP, and checking out their website, I pulled the trigger on this one, and am very happy with my decision!
Bought this kinda as a starter couch for my fiancé and I, we knew it was cheap and we don't have high hopes that it'll last for years to come (I'll update this review later on to verify that) but we wanted a nice looking couch for friends to crash on. It looks very nice, a high sheen velvet type material that seems durable enough (but we shall see). It was delivered a couple days early which for us was great and it was a super easy delivery. One big box with everything inside (fit through the doorway easily). The box came with the couch, all the nuts and bolts, the tools needed, and an instruction booklet. The booklet was very easy to follow and all the parts were labeled well. From start to finish it probably took my fiancé and I under thirty minutes to put together. One person could probably do it on their own except there is one point where we found it was easiest to lay the couch upside-down on a coffee table to screw the arms of the couch in, so maybe a second person would help there but I don't think it's impossible to do it with one. When folded out into a bed it seems surprisingly sturdy (I'm around 150lbs and laid entirely on the folded out section and felt no give). I will say that the grey is a tad on the blue grey side (not that we minded but just letting you know). The biggest issue I have with it and it's not even that big of a deal but it's a little more firm than I had wanted but like I said earlier, it is super cheap for a couch. Over all I think for the price this is a great purchase and it will look nice and serve us well for a couple years.
I was looking for a cream colored couch and this one listed as tan (close enough) but when it arrived it IS cream :D It took me about an hour alone to put it together, just make sure to unzip the bottom cushion first because that is where the instructions were on mine. If I could make just one recommendation go out and buy yourself a deep socket wrench set before hand this will save you over 30 minutes and a ton of frustration. You are given this tiny little wrench thing that keeps slipping when you try and turn it so it takes a long time. Other than that the directions are very clear and the couch is very nice. Yes the bottom is firm but still comfortable.
Happy with my purchase! I have a tiny living room.. its open to my kitchen and is 10 x 5. I bought the sofa to use for my college aged son or my middle school aged daughters friends to occasionally sleep on. The living room "area" for lack of a better way to describe it is also where my daughter and I or my SO hang out to watch movies. The sofa is very firm. It's more comfy when the back is slightly reclined with extra pillows. I took a nap on this with my SO (we are both 5'6" and combined weight of 360) and our three chihuahuas and it was very comfortable. I slept on it one night and found that if you are lying in the middle where the back and seat meet you can feel the frame which was not unexpected but I avoided that and slept great. It was also very easy to put together and arrived in perfect condition. We were amazed that it all fit into one box. It was not too difficult to carry the box up the three flights of stairs to my apartment. Would recommend!
