Super cheaply made. I bought it in November and now its February and its already falling apart. Its cracking. I weigh about 125lbs...

I purchased this bed for myself. I'm a regular sized guy and after about 3 months this bed has started to come apart. It was easy to put together, but I've re-tightened all the screws several times and it continues to lean to one side and the center support is nearly snapped off. I regularly have to take off the mattress straighten it all back out, and after a week or so it starts to lean again.

The side supports simply are not reinforced or braced correctly in my opinion. I will probably try to brace it with some kind of support system or just trash it all together. If I could return it I would.

Other than that the bed is very good looking and fits my queen mattress quite well.

Update - the company was very easy to deal with and sent me a completely new bed. Time will tell if the same problems return, but the outstanding customer service has me put this at 4 stars. I feel buyers can purchase with confidence the company will stand behind their product.

I brought this for my guest bedroom. Wanted a simple and nice looking design. I already brought Zinus memory foam mattress and bed frame some time back and was very happy with that.
I saw this bed and the design is simple and elegant.
The package came in a single box and was very heavy. Inside each wooden frame is neatly wrapped and packed. The styrofoam padding was each invidually packed with plastic bag even.
The instructions are well written and all the wooden frames are numbered on both sides for easy installation. Installation is a breeze and the inclusion of a small rachet is thoughtful.
The wood slats are all interlinked so that they do not move and are fixed to the frame using velcro stripes. The center beam is a metal rod with a a rubber lining to supress sound.
The bed frame is sturdy and it looks wonderful in the room. The quality and the packaging are very good for the price.
Will update the review after 2-3 months after we use it.

I think when it comes to mattresses it is important to take into account the body type of an individual. I am a slender male 160 lbs and do not have any one else sleeping with me. I purchased the Queen-sized Zinus Memory Foam with Cottage Style frame and love it!

The bed was easy to assemble and I had no trouble with the instructions. Previously, I had a 2nd hand Queen sized inner box spring mattress and it had some grooves dug into it by the time I purchased my Zinus. The new Zinus mattress is easily worth the purchase. On my old mattress I used to wake up stiff, sometimes my knees/shoulders/neck would hurt when I'd wake up. I could not always get comfortable and would wake up multiple times during the night. On my new Zinus mattress I have not waken up with any joint pain. The bed is soft and the frame is sturdy. There is no squeaking and the overall build quality is top notch.

Another plus that may not be on your checklist is the ease of assembly. Every part is labeled. The slates are pre-assembled and the instructions are very detailed. From start to finish the bed took me about 20 minutes to setup.

I would recommend this mattress and frame to all individuals.

I’d like to start by saying the actual quality of this bed is really nice for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. The instructions are extremely hard to follow and I was missing a section of screws. Instead of sending me some screws Amazon could only send me an entirely new bed which just seems wasteful to me. I had to go to the hardware store. Overall it still looks nice and seems relatively sturdy.

I waited a couple of weeks to write this review just in case. I love this bed.
The bed was easy to put together, I put it together by myself. Would be easier with 2
The slats have velcro that attach to the frame to keep them moving around
They also have double sided tape when you put the mattress on so it stays in place.
I was worried about how some reviews said the wood cracked. I am 95% sure it's because they tightened the screws too much. Once the screw is tight, stop twisting. If you force the screw tighter that is what splits the wood.
There were a couple of small scrapes on the black wood, but I used a black sharpie and now you can't tell there was ever a flaw.
I bought this bed to replace a metal bed that I was stupid enough to buy. Unlike that bed this one is quiet, it doesn't side around the hardwood floors or scuff the floors. I highly recommend this bed.

I am really impressed by the quality and sturdiness of this bed. It arrived very well packaged so that started the good impression on the right note. The bed was easy to assemble and took about an hour. All the necessary tools were provided and the instructions were easy to follow. If you assemble in the order written in the instructions, one person can assemble this bed without any problems. The end result is very beautiful and exactly as described. We bought a 12 in memory foam mattress for the bed, no boxspring. The bed and mattress fit together solidly, no squeaks or wobbles in the frame. I would buy this brand again.
