Oh my god the perfume. When I bought these I didn't begin to imagine that these things would UTTERLY REEK of sick smelling perfume. After putting two bags into trash cans in my kitchen (hidden behind cupboard doors no less) the entire house smells of sickly sweet febreeze. It's practically comic how over-the-top the chemical treatment is here. Yuck. I seriously have come back to amazon today to buy new trash bags into which to throw these awful, awful trash bags.
Cripes, just smelling my hands 20 minutes after putting the bags in, and the smell is so powerful. Perhaps this is a manufacturing error...???!!!?! YUCK!

Disliked the fact that the bags were splitting at the seams & I had trash everywhere. It was just not one or two bags, nor from just one roll, but the majority of the bags and from both rolls....
Unable to return to Amazon because I surpassed my “window” on returns. Now I have a box full of useless trash bags.....

This bag always held up for me. Lasted me two months. I decided to go with the fragrance kind. Same bag everything just febreze fragrance and it's NOT at all overwhelming like others are saying. I read the reviews before I bought it and I'm like uh that's not a bad thing to have your trash not smelling like trash DUH, anyhow it's not even strong like they claim. I'm actually disappointed that it isn't a strong headache smell like people claim lol. It doesn't mask the whole smell of the trash can because afterall it's trash but it sure does do more than a regular unscented bag. I'd say by 75%. Good enough for me!

Note: I am not super sensitive to smells! Though these trash bags are sturdy, the Febreze smell is overpowering. I just moved the garbage can with the bag out to the front porch to air out, and took an aspirin as the smell has given me a raging headache. I don't want to air out the other 109 left in the box and I regret the purchase.

I had purchased these because I needed some garbage bags and obviously Amazon had a better deal than the local store. What I didn't realize was that these bags were scented. So when I found out I thought "oh, cool, it won't smell like garbage."
MAN WAS I WRONG. They smell WORSE! I take one out of the box, get a whiff, and I feel disgusted. And that's before I put any garbage inside the bag. Once stuff goes in, the mixing of the smells amplifies the bad smell significantly. I can't even leave bags of garbage out in the hallway (apartment building) without the whole hall smelling like this awful "Fresh Clean" smell. I will never actively or accidentally purchase scented garbage bags again. And of course, Amazon gave me such a great deal so now i have 110 bags to get through before I can get non-scented!!

Minus the smell, the bags are decent quality, but i have had some come out of the box with a defective drawstring.

Fists great in my 13 gallon flat back, oval front trash can. First bags I purchased in a year that easily fit without stretching and finagling to fit on the canister. The scent is light and definitely helps trap in smells. Very sturdy if you do not over fill or make too heavy. I typically use two bags a week as we have two trash pick ups per week. So I cannot attest yet to whether the scent/odor protection lasts more than five days. We also keep our lid closed (as we have dogs and cats) so the scent stays trapped inside the canister. I will definitely continue to purchase so long as it stays a Prime item for a low price. Th amount f bags should last me at least two months.

The first time I bought these, they were fantastic. Hefty's version had the problem of tearing them off of a roll and then not being able to easily tell which end of the bag was the open end. The Glad brand was better because they were packed individually, and easy to pull from the box and open up.

After a few more boxes of them, they started packing them on a roll to tear off, but they were still a lot easier to deal with than Hefty's version. Then they started making them gathered at the bottom of the bag which causes them to hold a lot less before emptying them. Bad design change in my opinion, but not a show-stopper by any stretch.

Now the most recent box I bought are made too small. We've had the same 4 gallon trash can in the bathroom for years and never had a problem with any 4 gallon trash bags fitting with a little room to spare. But after tearing through the first 3 or 4 bags trying to get them to fit, I just pitched the rest of them.

Guess I'll go back to Hefty or something else.

The bags seem to be good quality, and good value. For me though, I am using a big garbage can for the bags to fit in, and it is a little tight on the top lip when trying to secure the bags to the can.

So just be aware that even though they say Tall, they can be tight on any can you are using.

Lastly, you have to like the smell of Febreze as the smell is definitely present.

The bags themselves are fine but the scent is so strong I find it takes over our entire kitchen and gives me a headache... tempted to give them away ... they are a great size and functionally no issues but I just can’t get over how strongly they smell... if I put a bag outside for my husband to take out to the garbage you can smell it throughout our entire yard... I know some people like things with a strong fragrance, these bags are for you! I’d rather smell the stinky trash under my kitchen sink, at least it doesn’t hurt my sinuses

These were terrible. I used them in my Ubbi (never had issues with other garbage bags) and these immediately ripped making me have to take out each diaper with my hands and then place in a new garbage bag. These are terrible. I usually use forceflex bags no idea why these were so bad.

These fit my kitchen garbage perfectly. They are just as described and are quite strong and don't seem like they would ever fall apart. The smell seems overwhelming right when you first put the bag in the trash, but I find that as the garbage gets fuller and fuller (and, with other garbage bags, smellier and smellier), the smell overwhelms the nasty garbage smell which I really appreciate. The febreeze scent does not mingle with the garbage smell and make it smell even worse, it actually overpowers the smell of the trash so that I can only smell the febreeze scent which is really nice. I think I will be repurchasing these when I run out.

Purchased these for our kitchen garbage can that we were just using black full size bags in.These glad bags are a perfect fit and they smell great. Now these are more expensive then just a standard black garbage bag but these feel stronger and they have a good scent.
We will be buying these from now on.
