After 3-4 sessions with my slam piece this thing has held up well. I’m 6’2 220 pounds and I’ve destroyed every bed I’ve had in the past. I’m honestly testing this things durability at this point and it’s rock solid
Love this bed for the price. such great quality and so pretty! I only wish the headboard was up a little higher but if you read the description & measurements you can see how tall it is. It really is beautiful!
When you assemble this bed, it looks 10 x worth what it actually costs. I love redwoods and lodge items--so if that is your thing, this is the bed for you. Not only does this frame have a vintage barn wood, rustic character, but it seems light as a feather (in comparison to other beds that two people cannot budge even an inch). Sure it's not made from authentic recycled barn--but it's a more modern piece. This bed is very easy to love. And very convenient when you need to move it from one place to another. One person can just push it, assuming you have a flat surface underneath. Assembly seemed to just fly by. I remember when this arrived I had gotten home from work and felt tired, but wanted to sleep on a bed instead of a mattress on the floor. I plowed through the evening, and was really impressed with the simplicity of the entire assembly. Simple does not mean basic and cheap--it means the design is well-thought out by someone with a great mind. The instructions are very easy because they are labeled with letters and numbers with matching parts. The wood is really light but sturdy and high quality, assuming you're not someone who will be using your bed for body-slamming sumo wrestlers.
I have a full-size bed and purchased a Queen frame, which is why it looks like it doesn't fit (I have a new Queen bed on the way) The box was super heavy, I weigh 110 lbs and luckily the delivery person pulled it up my stairwell for me, all I had to do was slide it around. It took me about an hour to assemble, It wasn't too hard doing it myself, I used those yoga blocks to help elevate some of the frames while screwing it in, which made it much easier. Overall seems pretty sturdy, the wood is real and again, sturdy. All of the tools were included, which I was a relief, overall looks great!
Liked the sturdiness and ease of putting it together. I thought the headboard would come up higher though, it barely shows over our two pillows. We have an oversized mattress so you can not see the detail of the bottom or sides. Darker than expected but that's okay. I'd suggest a height option for the headboard because this is just an awkward height were if we're trying to sit up it hurts our back. Great directions on putting it together though, very sturdy. Arrived quickly.
Packaged well, great instructions with all tools included. Easy to assemble by one person and very sturdy bed frame. Even included velcro to make slats more stable
I wanted to like this bed, the wood is great and it's well-built. But there are serious problems with the dimensions. I advise any purchaser to check dimensions VERY carefully against your mattress. I have a 12" memory foam mattress that doesn't fit under the headboard and was overhanging 3 inches on the foot. We partially solved this by raising the headboard up so the mattress fits underneath, but now the headboard is only being supported by one screw on each side and it doesn't look like it was designed this way. So we're concerned about whether this will last. Additionally, this whole bed is about 0.5 inches undersized for a standard King mattress which spoils the lines of the bed.
Even though I wound up having to return this because some things were missing and it couldn't house the adjustable base I have, it was a very high quality bed, high quality parts, amazing high quality wood bed, and it would have looked great in my room if I could have put it together all the way.
Don't hesitate to buy this bed if it is the right size and type for your room. I wish I could just keep the headboard! It's that nice!!
