This product works exactly as described. Good adhesion and chairs are significantly quieter on hardwood floors.

However, my package was opened and missing one of the sheets, so I only received 24 felt pads instead of 32. My review is more directed at the seller and not the product. I wish this had been caught before shipping.

Garbage.
They move around and you have to reposition them.
To small, details said 1", I thought for some reason they would be bigger...adhere very well, work well on hardwood floors, and easy to apply however because they are so small the furniture I applied to would tip uggg my bad.
These do t stay stuck at all. Not satisfied.
Scotch tape has more glue than these pads. I would never buy these again unless you want to put felt pads on a piece of paper. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
Felt pads were one of those things that I thought was a commodity - one brand was pretty much the same as another. Putting them on chair legs means that you'll be replacing them every couple of months, so I've had a chance to try out many different brands over the years, including many from local big box stores.

I've found, though, that there are some differences among brands. The Scotch felt pads seem to have a more effective adhesive than other felt pads, so that I don't have to replace them quite as often. For me this makes up for any issues with slightly higher cost than other brands. If you're getting felt pads for low-use settings, any brand should be fine. If you want a step up in quality, though, these are great.
These pads are being used on the bottom of wooden breakfast room chairs on a wood floor. They are easy to apply, but they have to be reset into place about every two weeks, as the adhesive is too puny to keep them affixed to the leg bottoms. In addition to frequently moving them back to the bottom, there is also the issue with adhesive on the floor (a Goo Gone job - a great product, by the way). This is a very annoying issue of constant maintenance. Scotch is a good brand, but these little devils have been a recurrent disappointment. As people age, getting down on the floor to reattach the pads and clean the floor becomes a hardship. My wife and I are not large (heavy) individuals and we strive not to slide the chairs any more than necessary with our weight on them. That notwithstanding, these pads do not stay in place, esp. the larger ones for the back legs.
I have a couple of newer dining room chairs that were scratching the hardwood, The foot of the legs does not have a smooth flat surface, but I attached these pads a couple of weeks ago and they are still holding on with very strong adhesion.

If you have hardwood floors, these are a must for keeping them scratch free. If I could only put them on my cats feet...

I've been trying all sorts of leg caps to soften the tile floor screech sound.

I tried different knit leg socks, caps, adhesives. The knit socks collect a lot of hair and dust. And fall off constantly. The different caps are decent but they also fall off but less often than socks. The adhesives fall off and you end up having to repurchase.

Ive found these 3M brand adhesives now. Hoping 3M branded adhesives will work better than generic brand adhesives since 3M typically does adhesives really well in other products.

So , I tried them on my chair.

Pros:
- definitely do feel stickier than other felt pads I had been using
- these are thicker than other felt pads by a few millimeters
- they are very soft sounding on my tiles floor

Cons:
- small issue is I wish 3M had circular pads because as you can see it doesn't work well on square . I haven't seen 3M circular pads.
- i noticed hair and dust still collect on the felt pads but that is unavoidable. Definitely less than knit socks.

So far it is holding up and has not called off. If I can get at lease 6months out if these felt pads I consider this a great product. I will update in time.
Did not stick. As soon as I pushed in the chair, the pads came right off and stuck onto themselves, making it impossible to re-adhere.
