This product arrived in one solid lump inside the container. This product is supposed to be a powder! I now see it’s not eligible for return? It’s defective. Do not purchase from Primal Blueprint. $45 later, I say it’s a rip off!

This product stood a good chance of being amazing. It had all the right ingredients, and smell out of the gate wonderful. After being mixed with everything from Milk, Coconut milk, almond milk, Coffee, Protein shakes and a few other things they all tasted horrible. The Golden Turmeric Collagen Fuel Drink Mix may smell good before being mixed, but after it is mixed it taste like Soap. Friends, Family and coworkers have tried the Golden Turmeric Collagen Fuel Drink Mix I have purchased and all said the same thing. As I can not return this I am reviewing so that others don't buy the Turmeric version. I will be trying to other types but never the Golden Turmeric Collagen again.

My favorite collagen out there! I mix it in my coffee daily! Noticeably made a difference in my skin, hair and nails. I’ve had people ask me what I’m doing or that I’m glowing. I teach esthetics so I already have a very good skin care routine and knowledge of skin. My hair is so much fuller and usually doesn’t grow fast. It’s definitely growing again. I have gel dip nails and my nails are usually very weak. I’ve been using this about 4 months daily and my nails are growing faster and strength is much better! I wish the cans were full and the cost wasn’t so high. Also I hope Primal Kitchens goes back to grass fed. But I still love the taste and results from this product.

I have been taking a half scoop every morning in my coffee for over a year. I like my coffee sweet, so I just add a bit less sugar and it’s perfect.

The great part: I have NEVER been able to grow the nails on my fingers. They’ve always peeled up and ripped at the sides. And barely grew anyways, as in, it took me over a month of constant gel and powder nails to have nice nails/pictures for my wedding and even then, 3 were acrylic! I now have to file them EVERY WEEK, because they get so long! Also note I have tried EVERYTHING, nail strengthening polish, gel, creams, vitamins, everything! This is literally the first time I have EVER had nails!!!

The not so great part: I haven’t seen a difference with my hair. And I have to make sure to continue to mix my coffee to make sure I get it all because it settles on the bottom of my mug (in fairness I do take hours to drink my coffee.) The other thing is the packaging, it’s not airtight enough, and only has 1 silica packet to suck up the humidity (again in fairness, I only use half of the suggested serving per day, so it takes longer to use, so maybe it would work fine if I used it as suggested) but that was easily solved by transferring it to a canister!

Overall: I am VERY pleased!

So, I love the Primal Kitchen products, so I thought I'd love this. NOPE. Flavor was not good and left a bad aftertaste. I recognize the benefits of it, but I just can't drink this.

My recommendation, have trial size available for people to try before purchasing a full jar.

I would also love to see a ginger flavor, if your moving outside of vanilla and chocolate.

I was so surprised at how bad the Primal Kitchen Golden Turmeric Collagen Fuel Drink Mix tastes compared to the Chocolate version. I drink Turmeric teas so I am not a stranger to the taste of Turmeric but it is awful. I have to wonder if they ran out of the spices that would have evened out the flavor. Will never order again.

I was worried about this b:c I have always been against adding protein powder to my smoothies but it truly does taste good. I was a skeptic but now I like it. I also bought it in the vanilla and it’s good as well. I started using the recipes in Kelly LeVeque’s book , Body Love.

I ordered this product because after an injury with swelling my Dr advised me to incorporate turmeric into my daily routine to help reduce swelling. HOWEVER: the Turmeric taste is beyond AWFUL!!!! Absolutely gagging disgusting!!!! No amount of added sweetener or cream covers up the flavor!! Not to mention it does not stir into coffee very well at all like the vanilla does.
