Despite those one star reviews this bed holds up. It IS comfortable and the mattress is not thin. Slats are Euro style and more trustworthy. The lock works fine but the thick mattress must be pushed in between the framing at the top. Then it locks easily. It cannot fall apart if assembled right. This is my second one and i rent room space. I will order a third if i need it. Everyone said it's comfortable. I see thru each one star issue to a cause. It is memory foam, and it's better and more managable. no they didn't ask me to write this. But often I'm discouraged by one star reviewers. Now i even see that differently.
Awful. Not a memory foam mattress and the frame is not like pictured or described. There’s also no mattress cover, again as described. Very disappointed.
I am so confused right now. The reviews on this product seemed to be pretty mixed when it comes to the memory foam mattress. I decided to give it a try based on the good reviews that refuted the bad reviews so much. This mattress has NO MEMORY FOAM in it. 1 of 2 things have happened. Either different mattresses are being sent out with different orders OR the people on the reviews that are stating that it is memory foam have no idea what memory foam is. Either way...mine is NOT. The only reason I gave two stars is because the frame is fine. I feel cheated. The "memory foam" is what made me choose this one over others.
I'm very disappointed in this product. I recently purchased this for my guests and figured it would be a great bed. I opened the box and the mattress smelled horrifying, like rotten cheese and barf. I figured that's just how it's suppose to be and needed to be aired out. I left it out on the balcony to air out for already 2 weeks and it still smells disgusting. I was planning to return it but looks like the window to return is closed and I am very disappointed that the product can't be used
The quality of the mattress is good. Its soft and comfortable. The bed sits a bit low which is not something I thought of as being an issue but it was a surprise when we set it up. Not a big deal but it is quite low. The bed makes noise if your sleeping and move around. This was our first foldable bed purchase so we do not have anything to compare it too. We are pleased with this purchase.
It was very cheap material.
The wheels kept falling off and made of cheap plastic that only snapped together, so they kept separating and falling off.
The thin cross boards that hold the mattress on warped right away.
It is a useless piece of junk.
Don't waste your money!
Linon Home Decor Luxor Folding Bed with Ma emory Foam is not a folding bed that can be expected to be used daily. The construction of not sturdy enough for everyday use. We do appreciate the foam mattress is as advertised and very comfortable. The plastic latch that keeps the folding bed from opening from the top after just a week of use appears to lose the grip and firm attachment. We just visited a hardware store and purchased a heavy duty strap.
The frame is not sturdy but with occasional use you can expect to experience good use for the temporary guest.
I needed temporary beds for little kids while some remodeling is done. Ordered two of these. All the memory foam; that I am familiar with is somewhat soft and for instance, you can leave your handprint in it for a moment. This feels far more like plain old firm foam. My granddaughter's first remark was this is hard; I tried it myself and even an adult doesn't make much of a dent in it. I will just get a mattress topper for it. When folded it doesn't quite stand up straight. Returning something this big is too much trouble. We will just deal with it.
Here we are many months later and the beds will not stand up straight. One of them lost the ability to lock closed after only a week or so. Now I have a small bungee cord on it. They work but I am just not happy with this purchase.
The mattress is comfortable but it is not a 6'' rather it's a 4'', a bit soft and i received it very dirty... you cannot stop the wheels so it moves whenever u move while sleeping. After 2 days of use became noisy and squeaky. The package shows a cover case for the bed but it seems it'' not included, i'm not sure if it's just a picture. All in all it's ok, but if u bed the frame and the cot mattress separately u can get better product with same price if not less.
Mattress pretty firm, using a foamy on it for kids, the mattress itself slips off the wood slats used for bed frame so grandson complained every time he moved the mattress did to.
The Luxor Folding Bed tips over if you sit on the edge...need to say in the middle of the folding bed.
I was lying on in and reached over to silent the alarm clock. The bed tilted over lading me on the ceramic floor and injuring my shoulder.
We are trying to figure out how to fix this and we have no idea how.
I must say, I really like the folding bed but this problem can leave to injury.
Note: I weigh 120 lbs so my weight is not the problem.
Super easy assembly! Instructions were a little backwards though — I found it easier to install the wheels AFTER securing the side bars because it was impossible to move the centre legs to get the holes aligned for the screws. Mattress isn’t exactly memory foam like the photos show, but it’s a decent quality twin XL size. Overall a great purchase! Very lightweight and easy to roll around.
The instructions for assembly were not that easy to follow plus it was in a very blurred small print so not that easy to figure out. I was left with one metal bar when it was finally put together so I just omitted it and it was still ok. The person who used it said that it was very firm. I found it quite difficult to fold and put away and as I said the instructions were not clear. In the picture it showed the mattress folded into the frame for storage but I just couldn’t do that so I stored them separately.
