This is great! I bought it for my 3yr old. Didn't want to invest a fortune yet on heirloom stuff that will likely be scratched up, drawn on, and "abused" the way a 3yr old would use it. I have to say, I was expecting a useable but not great item, since it's partially composite. I was totally, and happily, surprised! Very sturdy. Solid wood "frame", meaning the four posts and six crossbars that make up the skeleton, well done veneered finish on all exposed parts. I think the very top and all drawer fronts are solid too, but I can't tell.. Very well done if its a composite. Gliders on drawers are smooth. It does have thin (thicker than some other dressers though) particle drawer bottoms, however, unlike cheaply made self assemble dressers, there are supports going across the middle from front to back underneath, so warping is far less likely. The other three sides of the drawers are composite, and they don't try to hide it, but it still looks fine. The assembly of the drawers is solid wood where the screws attach though... I'll post photos (the colored drawer handles didn't come with this, it comes with nice wooden ones). I put it together by myself, (5'2" woman) and it took me about two hours. It would have been helpful to have another when attaching the 2nd side, but it's doable alone, you just have to be really careful. Assembly instruction was easy to follow along- the only downfall was that the bags the screws were in all split apart- made from thin, brittle plastic, so I had to sort and count before going forward, but everything was there in the hardware box. It also comes with a small safety wall attachment kit to prevent tipping, which I didn't find any info about in the instructions, and the parts were not listed in the inventory sheet... but very happy it was included! Nothing was damaged as other reviews talked about, so I didn't need to contact about replacement parts, but the instructions say they will send them to you if you need them. It looks really sharp, smooth and quality. I am very happy with this purchase, it looks really nice in my son's room. I highly recommend this dresser to anyone who doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg for their toddler's furniture.

This isn't very good quality whatsoever and I've meant to write a review long before now. This wasn't too difficult to put together, however, one of the drawers never fit properly so it got stuck shut when I first put it together and never opened again (I could probably have pulled and pulled but I was afraid it would pull the whole thing apart, which it probably would have). So from the start I had a four-drawer dresser instead of five. Over the year 1/2 that I've had this, the drawers have all fallen apart repeatedly - the wooden support bar underneath each drawer doesn't quite fit the depth on any of them and they don't stay together, so they all fall apart and the bottoms fall out of each drawer, meaning they get stuck on the clothes in the drawers underneath and make a mess. About once a month I have to empty the drawers, put them all back together again and put the clothes back in. What a pain. Finally the bottom of the bottom drawer cracked and fell apart so now I have a three-drawer dresser instead of five. The upside is that the dresser looks very nice just sitting here (you can't tell that two of the drawers aren't functioning when you just see it sitting in my son's room) but the bottoms of each of the drawers are the next step up from cardboard and the dowels that are supposed to support them do not fit and do not hold the bottoms in the drawers. Unfortunately I have a piece of junk that I can't use now and will need to be thrown away...but like I said, it looks ok just sitting here if I didn't need to use it.

This dresser is simply amazing. I'm 6 months pregnant with twins and the assembly was easy enough I could manage it on my own. It is very time consuming, but simple. The drawers took about 15 minutes each but that's because of all the extra bracing the manufacturer thought to put into the design! The drawers are also nicely deeper than any I've seen on modern dressers, even the ones in my local furniture store going for three times this price. I also love that they thought about children when making this dresser and the drawers have a stop on them so they don't fall out. The packaging was really well done so nothing was damaged in transit. Parts are press board and other parts seem to be solid wood or very well laminated solid wood. The finish has some very slight variations in color that make it at least appear very real wood. I like the knobs that came with it but it would also be very easy to change the look of this piece by changing them out.
I'm very happy with this purchase! It's a nice solid heavy piece without being extremely heavy. The construction is very sturdy! (They even include screws for the backboard instead of tiny nails that never stay put). The instructions were very easy to follow and all I had to provide was a philips screwdriver (though I used a power drill to put in the screws on the backing to save time). I'd highly recommend this dresser to anyone. The look, the size, the construction, the ease of assembly, and the gosh darn amazing price make this piece a true bargain! I am contemplating getting a second one now so when my twins are older they can both have one.

Was really excited for this piece of furniture to complete my sons room. It arrived quickly although a drawer was damaged (see photo) and there we’re screws missing. Also for the price I was expecting it to be a bit better quality. Waiting for a replacement to arrive not sure if I’ll keep it or return it yet. It’s pretty much built so I’ll have to see what it looks like complete and make a decision from there. Defiantly disappointed!

Product was damaged. Seems to be a common occurrence, reading other reviews. Amazon was awesome sending me a new one, but the product itself is 2 stars. Due to being damaged and for the price I would expect it to be made with real wood and less mdf.

Good overall but arrived with some minor damage in 2 areas - luckily the damage is not visible based on where dresser is setup in the room. But still disappointing as this wasn’t cheap!

Easy to assemble, however we were short two screws for a draw and had to use two from the back panel.(which is why it's 4 and not 5 stars). No flaws in the finish. Shipped faster then they said, which was nice. Didn't notice a chemically smell when opening it as some people were worried about. And it matched the crib perfectly.

Missing parts. One piece of a panel comes off during assembly. Quality is not as good as expected. The package is heavy. I took everything upstairs piece by piece and now need to take everything down for return. Not happy with this, although it's a relief that Amazon will pick it up for free to return.

The center support leg was longer than the outer supports so it had to be cut down to fit, luckily we were able to do this ourselves, but again disappointed at quality control that these things are not checked out
