This dresser is great!! And looks premium! it feels premium! it acts premium! And it smells premium!! This dresser was a hell to build for the service that came over to build it but I believe it was worth it. The dresser and drawers are very sturdy and the drawers open and close seamlessly. They feel very strong and hold a good amount of clothes. Even weeks after having his dresser it will still give off that new wooden smell. The only problem I had with this dresser is one of the drawer sometimes doesn't close all the way if you push it too lightly. It just requires a bit more force and once you get used to it, it will feel like normally closing the drawer. For this inconvenience Amazon partially refunded me some of the money so that was a big plus and a thank you from me to them! I had this dresser of for a while now and I don't have any complaints! I'd highly recommend it!

4 big draws / 2 small ones Sturdy Plenty of room Looks great!!!! Put together alone by myself in maybe 5-6 hours all together.... Big job but I felt really good when I finished.... I would recommend the whole Sauder Carolina Oak set to anyone who doesn't mind putting the set together , not paying too too much, and having a decent sturdy matching bedroom set you put together yourself when you are finished ..... (instructions were very clear)
This product is very sturdy and good quality.. came out very good once assembled however the packaging was pretty loose with hardware and screws package flying around inside the box, also damaged a piece that supports drawer back however; I was lucky enough that E600 could hold the crack pretty good.. Would suggest anyone to buy with professional assembly if this is your first diy product.. the printed weight of package is 110lbs however feels much heavier once assembled.. the assembly instructions are good enough to finish it standing in 2-3 hours tops..
So if you're someone like me who has almost no experience in putting together furniture, I'd say this was mostly easy to assemble. My husband and I put it together in about 3 and a half hours and the instructions were straightforward. The only thing we struggled with was the frame on top. You're given a wooden hourglass-shaped piece to hold the frame together while you're working on it and it was SO ANNOYING because it did NOT help hold it together so my husband had to use both hands to hold one corner in place while I needed to hammer in the wood piece and then when we moved to do the same to the other side, the first side would just fall apart -_- When we finally did get it to hold together long enough, we couldn't keep it straight so we just put it on crooked. It didn't affect the functionality of the dresser but it doesn't look great. Everything else about building the dresser was perfectly easy. Just the frame confounded us, but again, we both had very little experience assembling.
A very nice dresser, after you dedicate a few hours to putting it together. Materials are quality and most are marked for assembly. Instructions are well done and easy to follow. However, a plastic connector piece was missing from the package (hence, the missing star in the rating). I called the Sauder Consumer hotline listed in the booklet. My call was answered immediately and the piece will be shipped first class. I would definitely buy this again. (Note: I suggest using a marker to mark the small screw holes in the composite board so that they are easier to locate when attaching screws.)
Took a while for 2 people to assemble (~3 hours). I can't imagine assembling it alone. Very heavy piece of furniture which should pay back in durability. I remember a time where this type of furniture was lightweight and didn't last - not so anymore.
One issue I had was that I had to remove one of the small plastic brackets in the back because it blocked a drawer from closing all the way. I re-read that step several times, and the bracket was where it was supposed to be, so either I re-read it wrong all those times, or it was a flaw in the directions. Not a big deal since removing the small plastic bracket didn't seem to compromise the functionality of the bureau.
Set up this dresser and it looks great and functions perfectly. As cheaper not real hardwood furniture goes, this is the best bang for the buck. Good function, and good aesthetics.
So I was very nervous about buying this and assembling it myself but went ahead and took the plunge. I couldn't be happier. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I had no trouble figuring out what went where and how. The drawers rolled right into the tracks and there's even a way to adjust them to make sure they line up.

As I finished putting it together I discovered that a pin on one of the handles had broken off or not formed so I couldn't attach it to the mount. I called the number on the front of the directions and a very nice man couldn't have been more helpful. He got my information and assured me that the part would be in the mail and sure enough it was. I got an email with a tracking number and had the part within 3 days.

My dresser is beautiful and has plenty of room in the 6 drawers for my clothes and looks great in my room. I would buy furniture from Sauder again in a heartbeat!
