I feel as thought I have written everything I know about this man and ALL his shows. This season is certainly different. The first thing I noticed was that after Amy's Baking Company, our Fearless leader Gordon has calmed down a bit. Maybe it is just because he is dealing with woman and it really does not look good yelling at woman and going nuts the way he would a man. However there have been a few men in there as well. My point is even though he is as critical as ever, as he should be, he is no where close to being in their face, and screaming from start to finish. So that is one change. I am sure there might be more I am missing. Oh, he has been a bit more generous in how much new equipment he gives the owners, as I believe it is based on how dedicated Gordon feels the owners really are. Overall you will enjoy this season a lot if you have always enjoyed the show. Much is still the same as he goes in, looks around, eats the food, spits the food out, comes back to observe dinner, then walks in the coolers and freezers, then either closes the restaurant down, or at the end of the day, he goes off on how they could let things go so bad. I have noticed they don't talk about how much money they are in the whole as much. So that would be a second change. But in the end Gordon does his thing, he never leaves them alone after he leaves, as he always places a "real" chef in the kitchen for free to help the owners until they get a new chef to take over. I love the show, and I always have. If you are a fan, you cant lose. If you are not a fan, it cant hurt to give it a try. If you read his biography, you would understand the man himself so much more, and it would make it so much easier to appreciate him as well. Enjoy....
Gordon Ramsey is awesome and tells it like it is. He has taught me that making fresh food at home is much easier than I thought and MUCH safer than many of the restaurants I might ordinarily eat at. He brashly exposes filthy kitchens and uncaring chefs, at least that is what they call themselves, and elevated prices for menu items that are often frozen and not fresh as advertised. One thing for sure Gordon cares about restaurateurs who have lost their passion for food and often lose all of their investments and loss of personal property trying to keep declining businesses afloat, most with no restaurant experience. His drill sergeant approach, language and all, rekindles the spirit of most restaurant owners. Though I primarily cook for myself, he has stirred my passion to stop eating frozen food or fast foods in lieu of less expensive fresh alternatives. I had lost my passion or food as a single person but even through Kitchen Nightmares Gordon has touched my life by letting all persons that we have worth and to respect good food and our bodies for good health. He provides non-stop laughter that doesn't end until the show ends!
Love the show, gordon is hilarious at times. Wish it was with the cursing though, like on netflix, especially when i purchased it. There should have been an uncensored version offered
This is one of my favorite shows ever. But I've managed restaurants and the ones featured in his show must have really slack state health standards. Where I live, just a couple of the food violations seen would get them shut down. Still, it's a fun show and I wish Amazon had more seasons available.
We watched the first six seasons on Hulu. We were disappointed to find that in watching the first 10 min. of season seven from Amazon, it had all the same episodes that were included in season six on Hulu. I would like to cancel this and be issued a refund, however it is my understanding that is not possible at this point.
Gordon Ramsey is amazing in the way he not only changes the business but also the owners. If there were more series available I would buy them.
I loved it, exactly as said, I would buy again
I did not know i purchased this show. There was not an obvious notice i was making a purchase.
