Tyger Auto T1 Soft Roll Up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover for 2015-2020 Ford F-150 Styleside 5.5' Bed TG-BC1F9029

Read reviews that mention:

This is a great cover! Got it for $110 as "used" but it came brand new in the original packaging. Installed in 20 minutes on my f150 and I did is alone. Getting the frame to be mounted perfectly square took me the longest.

I have had a couple covers like this in the past (one with buttons and one with a grooved rail piece that a plastic edge on the cover slipped in) and this is by far the best one I've used. The tightening system lets you get the cover nice and tight in most weather conditions. It's easy to tighten it because of the Velcro and the locking system on the tailgate end of the bed.

I had a hard cover on my last truck that was $1000+ but it leaked when it rained. So it was useless as a way to keep the bed dry. This cover for $110 far out performs that hard cover by far.

Also I have noticed in the few days I've driven it that there is an increase in MPG. Not sure if it's 10% but it's at least 1-1.5 MPG better than without it.

If you are looking for a great quality cover that is easy to use and keeps your bed dry I would highly recommend this cover. I was not paid for my review. This is my honest opinion about this cover. Hope this helps.

**UPDATE 1-3-2018**
Ran the truck through an automatic car wash with the cover on it. I forgot I had left a few thousand dollars of video lighting equipment in the back of the truck. The cover kept all the water out, even with the high pressure water and blow dryer. Never could have done that with my old hard cover. So if you need a great cover to keep your bed dry look no futher.

**In the event I have issues with the cover I will update my review**

I bought this for a long road trip because it was the best price I found and had good reviews. It was very easy to put on and looks great. It's good that it comes with some weather stripping for the front because I had a large gap due to the plastic side rail tops on my truck. On a 9 hour drive it rained the entire drive and all of our luggage in the bed stayed dry. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase!
Just put this on my 2018 F150 Stx (6.7 bed)today and it looks great man. Too early to tell the true quality of it just yet. However, for the price it is seriously worth it. No need to spend more $ than what this one costs. Tight fitting and snug. Fits great. Super easy to install, took 45 min.
My only con I would say is where the bar piece of the cover/or spans across the front of the bed by the cab. It doesn’t have anything in the middle to “hold” it down. By no means is it loose or a true concern as of now, but it could use something to secure it in the middle. We will see how it goes when I’m on the highway and see if the wind affects it. If there are any issues I’ll post em.
If your looking for a tonneau cover this is a steal.

***update*** the weather strip that comes with it needs to be used.. it says it is for certain instances and if I recall correctly not mentioned in the directions.. I had water come in and there is a noticeable gap between the cover base piece and bed. Simple fix. Just wish it said to use the weather strip. It should be the very first thing you do for the installation process.
Awsome bed cover, i was alittle skeptical when i purchases this but once i received it and installed it, i think its pretty awsome, perfect fit to my truck and locks very nice!!! Once your tail gate is closed and locked it can not be opened... really sets my truck apart... the material is very sturdy... seals very nice, can also be remover very easy if you need to haul somthing big. Sure beats paying 1000 dollars for those other tops.!!!!
Update after over a year. The cover is holding up ok but the rubber seal on the bottom is coming. I contacted customer service and they just stated to super glue it back myself. Not my ideal response back but since they won't help me that's what I had to do. We shall see how long it holds up.

Just installed on a 2017 Ford F150, the installation process was done by myself took about over an hour. It could have been done quicker if the instructions were more clear. I found the instructions not that specific and have to read multiple times to understand it. After installation, the cover seems to be more of a water resistant type rather than waterproof. Will update after a few rain showers.

So far so good, it is good for the price and serviceable for what I need. I do notice that it moves a lot when driving from the wind.

May 28 Update

Has been raining for almost a week now and as you can see that it keeps the bed dry. Just have to make sure you Velcro it right and tight.
I wavered for a year whether to purchase a rolling cover, soft cover or slim cross toolbox for my new shortbed (5-1/2’) F150. After reading numerous reviews, elected to try the Tyger. Installed it several months ago and have been more than pleased. I didn’t expect it to be “water tight”, but have no leaks at all despite heavy Texas rains. Very simple for wife to use! I installed in about 45 minutes - had to readjust a few times for proper fit at tailgate. Be sure to install front of bed weather strip first! Rolls up to within inches of cab when not needed. Very pleased.
Really good affordable cover. Surprisingly easy to install when compared to other manufacturers. I installed it on a bed with a drop in bed liner without any additional cutting or drilling which is a big plus. With other manufacturers the rail will typically extend a little too far and will create issues closing the gate. I think the total installation time took about 10-15 minutes, perhaps even less. The light is a bonus, although I can't stick it anywhere since my entire bed is plastic.

I think I'll do a long term update for this cover in the future once I see how it performs in snow and rain.

Update 1/31/2018:
===============
I've been driving with the cover on for over a month in snow and rain and I haven't noticed any issues with it. Still holds up pretty well. About that little light; originally I wrote I can't stick it anywhere because of the magnets, but I haven't noticed that Tyger actually provided two velcro pieces, so I can actually use it.
The tiger tonneau covers easy to install.
( one beer job )
Very well made fits great. And looks great as you can see.
I'm extremely happy with this cover.
Took 10 minutes to unbox and 15 minutes to install. Instructions were included but they are not required. THAT EASY! Quality definitely appears to be excellent, but standing up to Canadian winters will be a test. There was no LED light included as was described in may other reviews, but no matter as it was never part of the sales pitch. The price and positive reviews were a key selling point for me. Fits my 2016 f150 5.5 ' box perfectly. I would certainly recommend this product.
Update 03/11/19
Thought I would double check the clamps for tightness after running the highway on a windy day and found all 6 needed to be tightened more. I am also concerned that the tops of the clamps are very close to the cover and may rub/wear against the cover,so I put felt pads on top of the clamps as a buffer. They are cheap and can be removed easily if needed. Also had to adjust the tension on the cover ,seemed much looser than when I originally installed the cover. Most likely due to weather changes here in Southern Ontario going from -10 to + 2.
May 3/20
Completely satisfied with the cover, hardware and overall quality !!
Have seen 2 winters now and there are no issues period.
Would definitely recommend.
I was sceptical about buying such an inexpensive tonneau cover for my new truck. I've bought several covers before and they were all dramatically more expensive, but the ratings were good so I took a chance. Very good quality and super easy install. It took about 25 minutes which included unpacking and procrastination! So obviously overall this is a great buy but I do have a couple of small gripes. First, the instructions are not well detailed, it came with some foam weatherstripping but nowhere in the instructions did it mention where to use it, and second, the ends of the aluminum rails and edges of the clamps had not been de-burred, so they were razor sharp. A quick pass over at the factory with a file or de-burring tool would be very much appreciated.
Ive had this cover for awhile so i think i can give a good review of how its held up. Its worked very well for my needs. easy to install, the extra foam for the front was nice to see for a $200 cover. It does flap while driving down the highway and can be heard if there is some high cross winds. If you are looking for an inexpensive cover then this is one to get. I originally wanted a trifold because i had one on another f150 but i think this rollup is better then the official ford trifold so far. Time will tell how well it holds up over the coming years but for the price if i get 2 years out of it ill be happy.
Installation was relatively quick and simple. Took a bit of adjusting to get everything square. As someone else mentioned, don't tighten the clamps all the way until you have everything aligned. This thing will not keep the box completely free of all snow or water, but it does do a decent job of keeping most of the moisture out. We have had several big dumps of snow, and it's held up pretty well. I haven't re-tightened it since the install, and it seems to be sagging/flapping a bit more than when I installed it, but it hasn't come off or unlatched, even in highway speeds with strong crosswind. Even with a bit of movement, it's quiet. I definitely would recommend keeping an eye on it after install and re-tightening when needed. For the price, it's a solid purchase.
A great product for the price. Looks great and easy to roll up and down. Take some time while installing to make it square with the bed. When I first installed it the latch wasn’t staying closed. Once I made some adjustments I haven’t had any problems. Some water does get into the bed even with the provided weather stripping for along the front..

Only complaint aside from some water getting in is some visual marks/defects in the material upon delivery. Nothing major or worth the hassle of sending back.

Overall happy with the product and would recommend for a cheap tonneau cover
5 star for me on the first day, ill re-evaluate after a summer.

Just as described, at +3 celsius, it took longer to unpack and get my tools than it was to install today. No adjustments required, the presets were right on.
Concerning at first the top was really tight and you could open the lid without the unlocking mechanism 3 or 4 times. After a quick run taking the trunk to a speed that exceeded normal use of the tonneau it didn't buffer any more than it would at a posted limit and the locking mechanisms is working as expected when i got home
When rolled up i have tones of room for my quad and it locks good enough to keep nosy people out of my groceries.

Great values i'm looking forward to its long term performance.
The price was reasonable, and the shipping was fast. That said you get what you pay for. It certainly is lower quality then comparable covers from brand names. With the tensioner maxed out the vinyl is still really loose. Also on my F150 the cover does not seal along the tailgate so it allows water into the bed when it’s raining. Overall it’s ok if you on a budget, but I’d recommend saving for a more premium brand
Fit was perfect and the quality for the price you pay is amazing! One thing is if you have a drop in bed liner the front bulk head weather stripping the supply is to thick. Mine had a small gap still so i went to Home Depot and grabbed some thin weather stripping and that did the trick. After a few hard rains each time I look in the bed there is just s tiny bit of water near the front corners, not even enough to matter. Strongly recommend this cover.
Very fast shipping and the price was excellent.
Installs easily, but I am a little concerned that the fabric is too loose and will flap in the wind.
Followed all the instructions and cannot seem to get the fabric tight.
It is winter here in Canada and I was worried that I would not be able to install until I was in a warmer place as it would shrink in the below 0 temps. It is the opposite. I was not expecting a high end product for the price paid, and am very happy with the product I received.
I have to say, I was apprehensive about a truck bed cover at this price point, despite the awesome reviews.

After installing this thing today, I can say that the reviews are definitely deserved. This is a really great cover at this price. The material it's made of is fairly sturdy, it locks in place easily, and even comes with a bag, in case you want to remove it, and / or sell it.

Time will tell if it holds up to Western Canadian rain and weather, but for the time being, I'm pleased with my purchase.
Overall I really like cover. It looks great on my truck and seems to fit fairly well. My only concern with it is that it sits on the side rails which on my truck have some raised ridges on them. The ridges end about a foot from the tailgate and a foot from the cab so when the cover rails are clamped down the pressure is not even across the length of it. Have had some snow and rain on it and it has kept my bed totally dry. I really like how the under rods are curved to shed the rain so there is no pooling. Great cover so far.. would definitely recommend it
I bought this tonneau cover about 3 weeks ago & im happy to say it arrived on time, well packaged. The install instructions are simple to understand and the cover is a perfect fit on my F-150 5.5’ box. I re-adjusted mine after i stalling it because i installed it a little bit off the ideal spot. 2 reasons i tell you this
1 - install it as far forward as you can so it sits the nicest on your truck
2 - i installed it & adjusted it all in 30 minutes
I am very happy with my purchase & highly recommend this product to others
I casually installed this in my garage while chatting to my father. It took me an hour, and that was fussing over every detail. 2018 F-150 SuperCab. The optional adhesive foam strips works beautifully as the side rail OEM plastic covers sit about 1/4” higher than the front box rail. The quality is good, and
I appreciated that the clamps had a foam liner so you won’t scratch the inside of the side box rails. It seems to be well engineered and good construction. The locking mechanism works well. The screw to secure the side rails to the front rail could be better, but it works. The tie down straps to secure the cover when it is off are hard to get to but they work. 4/5 right? Now consider the price. The local shops in Calgary started at $700 for a soft cover. I think this is the absolute best value and I love how easy it is to pull back, and get the full use of my truck box when I need. I will be showing it off to my friends and recommending it.
So impressed with this tonneau cover. It is as nice looking and well built as covers that cost twice the price. I bought this for my F150 to drive to Florida and back with my wife and kids and it did brilliantly. It took me 30 minutes to install and that included me being picky and adjusting the positioning once and then deciding to remove it and add the additional weatherstrip along the front because I am a little obsessive and wanted a tight seal to keep any water out. It is super easy to use and looks great. I would absolutely recommend this product. Great buy.
