This ingenious bedside shelf offers a solution that is both practical and easy for keeping my needs close at hand while also preventing clutter in the area that I have available. It is simple to fold it down when it is not in use, giving me more room on my desk, which is already rather cramped. When space is at a premium in a cramped dorm room, having this option may make all the difference in the world. When I need it again, unfolding it is simple, and once it is in position, it holds its shape firmly, offering a stable platform for me to lay my stuff on. The cup holder is a brilliant addition to the overall look of the product. It works well as a holder for my water bottle, allowing me to have it within easy reach as I read or relax in bed. I won't have to worry about spilling liquids on accident or scrounging about for somewhere to keep my water anymore. The cup holder is spacious enough to fit even a thermos, making it an excellent accessory for those early-morning meetings or lectures. Another clever detail that I really like is the cradle for the remote control. Because of this, my remote control is always within easy reach, and it is protected from falling between my bed and the wall or being buried behind other things. Now, anytime I need it, I can easily locate my remote control, and I won't have to spend time looking for it.

My nephew suffered a broken limb in a motorcycle accident and is unable to move from his bed. I got this for him because it attaches to the side of his bed and allows him to keep his necessities and other items close at hand without constantly yelling for assistance because he can't reach them.

This has a generous amount of storage space without sacrificing floor space. The locking mechanism on the caddy prevents accidental folding while in use, assuring the safety of your stuff and bed. It can be folded and stored in the closet, or anywhere else for that matter, when not in use.

There are silicone covers where the tray contacts the bed to safeguard both objects and guarantee that no damage will occur. No assembly is required; simply place the tray on the frame and turn the three knobs until the shelf is firmly attached and it is ready for use. This is reasonably priced, durable, well-made, stays in position without the risk of falling, and works wonderfully for my nephew's belongings.
Works perfectly and my daughter loves it
I purchased two of these foldable bunk bed shelf that comes with a lot of storage for them to keep on the top and bottom bunk! I bought one black and one white one for my son and one for my daughter who shares a room. I love that these are super easy to install and I love the lock function that makes it super easy to stay up and drop down when needed!

The kids keep a bin on the side of the room so they can put their decor in when needed to drop down because it will fall off when turning the bin downwards. I love that this has a place to keep the tv remotes and my daughter's favorite book she likes to read before bed. The kids are able to plug in their phones and leave them charging on this bedside table all night and it just overall is a lot more manageable with having not a lot of storage.
I bought this for my son's loft bed so he can have a place to put his phone, drink and TV remote. There is plenty of space. It fit the bed rail fine. I would recommend.
It works pretty well. The three clamps make it so it holds tight, even if you have a few items in the tray to make it a bit heavier.

It folds well to stop it from sticking out when not needed but even folded, it provides a small shelf that things, like a remote or your phone, can be placed there.

The folding and unfolding is easy, however the only negative I place on this is that the tabs on the side feels a bit cheap. They are plastic tabs on each side which need to be slide forward and back to lock the tray in place. It’s easy to think the tray is in the right place and slide it, but it didn’t lock into place.

This gets easier the more you use it, but it could be a bit more simple or more obvious when it clips in properly or not.

One thing I do like is that edge is built with nice wide teeth so it fits between a variety of slats on your bed or futon to properly secure it on the side. If your mattress or cushions are a big higher, the tray will be quite a bit lower and might be more difficult to use properly.
This seems pretty good. The instructions were pretty easy, but one thing to note is that it is not that sturdy since it is plastic and can fold. I am quite worried that if I put too much on this it will fall, particularly because it is for a loft bed. However, it is pretty convenient to have if you only need it for light things.
I intended this for my kid's college dorm bed. Unfortunately, the bedframe is metallic and wasn't thick enough for the clamps to secure to. You need at least 1/2 inch thick framing and the metal was 1/8 inch. I guess I could've gotten some boards to fill the gap, but we didn't have those available. I retasked it for a bunk bed with traditional wood framing. But we're not keeping it as it's unappealing; good for a college dorm, but not in the home.

If you don't care about the form and only care for the function, then yes this is indeed a functional bedside shelf. It will clamp securely enough and it holds your stuff (book, drink, phone, glasses, etc) without risk of sliding off due to the high-walled sides. There's also a recessed portion to place a cup and keep any condensation away from the other stuff, like a book or phone. And folding it down is easy to do by pulling in the side latch releases, pulling the tray out, and then lower. It's made entirely of plastic other than the clamp bolts. It's durable enough but I wouldn't risk overloading it or banging against it.

The price seems reasonable and comparable to similarly constructed and designed bedside shelves. It's just not pretty to look at.
