I never leave a review but I have to after using this blanket. My boyfriend and I used the blanket for play time. We didn’t think this blanket would be waterproof because we could see through it but we were wrong. There were puddles and the blankets under this blanket were super dry. I highly recommend if you or someone you know is very hydrated and release the hydration over and over again. This makes for an easy clean up after play time.

My dog had a medical condition that needed surgury, but had to wait until he was strong enough to have surgury. During the wait he was bleeding from his tumor and incontinent. This thick, super soft blanket saved my floors! Great size to spread on the floor, love the color as well. The velvet plush side comforted him, and the fluffy fleece side provided padding. I have machine washed it seceral times. Takes a while to dry due to the waterproof barrier in the middle. It is now a couch cover for my dog, who is doing great now after his surgery.

I got this blanket because my cat is very sick and she was having accidents on our couch. The blanket is very soft and she likes to lay on it. When she has an accident it doesn’t go through to the couch. I just wash it and put it back on the couch. It does take a while to dry in the dryer but it’s been very helpful for us.

Purchased this for my cat that was having accidents. She is for some reason in love with this blanket and hasn't had an accident since. So I don't really know how great this blanket is as far as being waterproof but it solved my problem while looking nice as well.
It had a small odor when I first opened it up. A quick wash and it was all better.

Blanket is great. Put it on my daughters twin size bed, so our dog can sleep on top and they both love it. It’s plush and soft on both sides. I haven’t watched it yet, so we’ll see the wearability of it.

I purchased this item for those rare occasions my dogs have an "accident". I can't speak to the effectiveness of the waterproofing but I will assume that it works well. I will update if it doesn't.

My dog would give it 5 stars as she immediately inspected and started making herself comfortable on it. She sleeps on it constantly even as much as her bed. It is very soft.

Being a human I would have to give it 3 or 4 stars. The fluffy side of the blanket had pieces of fabric falling out from the moment I unpacked it and continues to do so after several days. Some big bits and many small bits just kept falling off it. I gave it a good shake and snap...outdoors...and a lot of fabric came off. It's not noticeable like it's balding somewhere but this is not a good sign. I expect that it will keep happening especially after being washed several times and my dog pawing at it constantly. It hasn't happened yet so we'll see. Stay tuned!

We bought this one because we just kept running out of towels. Who knew a kitty could hold so much moisture. The kitty would just get on the bed and next thing you know there’s a wet spot oops. No one likes to sleep in the wet spots. We waited two days for this thing to come in. I watched it constantly on tracking. Tik toc tik toc my kitty couldn’t wait. The minute it arrived she just knew and it constantly purred. I laid it out on the bed and it was so smooth. I was expecting an over powering odor like some new materials are but no not at all. Soon as my kitty saw it she pounced and jumped right on. It was fun watching her roll around on the bed and all her wetness made no mess. My husband came home and had no idea I ordered it. So when he came home
I made sure his kitty was laid across the bed and the look on his face was astounding. He immediately started playing with her and it was like a match made in heaven. They played for hours. It was such a good experience we even brought the neighbors kitty over to try it out. Between the two of them and they tried to make the biggest mess they could playing around. Who would’ve know two kitties could make so many puddles. Everyone was happy. After all that play time it was so nice taking the blanket off and the bed didn’t get wet. I was so ecstatic that no one had to sleep in the wet spot. Happy kitty happy life. Now the whole family is happy and the kitty can get soaking wetting and play in her favorite spot everyday. Most important it’s and easy cleanup but it’s easier to air dry it than putting it in a dryer.

THis is a really substantial blanket. It definately has saved a few accidents from my puppy. Since there is a layer of waterproofing which makes it super warm so it has actually become a replacement for my comforter. washing is no problem

Amazing product!! We have washed them so many times after my cats started peeing on the sofa almost every night and product works and looks brand new. 100% waterproof with no leaks and super soft! Will be buying more to rotate between washes. Definitely recommend to any pet owner!

This blanket has changed our life! My kitty tends to make a big mess when it plays on the bed, so we needed something waterproof that could contain the mess it made. We considered some of the “adult” blankets for cats but decided on this one because it was a lot cheaper. Trust me when I say it can contain literal puddles of *water* and not a drop gets through. (We’ve also washed it a few times and it washes perfectly fine, you will either need to dry it on a heavy duty cycle or two rounds since it is waterproof, it can take a lot to dry after washing.) Now my kitty can play as long as it wants without worrying about the mess it will make. It’s also Very soft and you would never guess that it is a blanket marketed for pets. This blanket is durable, comfortable and functional and Hopefully this review will help others with similar interests find what their looking for.
